Diogo's recognition includes prizes in some international competitions and the recent recognition at the 2022 Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy competition for Contemporary Ensembles and the recent participation at the prestigious Josip Nochta Competition in Zagreb, Croatia. Diogo teaches all saxophones and ensemble playing in Portuguese, Spanish, English and German.
