Why me?

I have been teaching for 3 years and have helped many students find their way through the maze of math. In my experience, it is a lack of knowledge of the basic building blocks of the subject, combined with, in some cases, poor teaching and poor teachers that lead students to believe in the idea that math, physics, or English is difficult.

It sure isn't!

In my teaching I will offer active, example-based teaching where learners discover the answers for themselves as opposed to written learning.

I teach with incredible passion, and I don't do this to pass the time. I am deeply in love with the subjects I teach, be it math, physics, or English, and it hurts me a lot when I see people shy away from math or speak poor English. My acquaintances will testify to me that I have a constant need to look for and correct mistakes in grammar that might be made. This is my way of using this urge.

What can you expect from me and my classes?

1. Lessons in two languages - German and English. I can use German at level DSH2 / C1.2. I attended the preparatory college at the TU Berlin, where I learned German for academic and scientific purposes. This is the need of the hour, and certain university-level programs require students to be fluent in both German and English: for example, the engineering program at TUM. This is a skill that is worthwhile.

Note: English classes are held entirely in English.

2. Help with homework and concepts covered in school - this helps further deepen the concepts taught and helps students build a strong foundation.

3. Help you prepare for specific tests or exams.

4. Revising concepts taught in previous classes - students generally tend to forget what they were taught a year earlier. This, in turn, makes them unable to understand more complicated material that is required of them as they progress. These are practically skipped in school on the assumption that the student knows them from earlier. These are some of the subtleties we will delve into in depth.

5. English - Help with grammar and other subtleties of the language and literature. Understanding and analyzing a story or a poem. Help in writing coherent, grammatically correct texts, paying attention to pronunciation.
