The objectives are to develop vocal skills, interpretation, even for some, to discover jazz improvisation. But it is also and above all to take pleasure in singing, to have fun, to be surprised. Aware that daring to go on stage is an achievement for some singers, one of my work objectives is also to accompany my students so that they perform in front of an audience and in the company of musicians with confidence. My private lessons are aimed at an amateur public, of all ages, beginners and intermediates. The lessons are adapted to the level, experience and projects of the students. I am Rubén, a recent PhD in Archaeology by the University of Leicester with extensive experience teaching in academia for the last 6 years. I have also taught Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I developed methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My experience to communicate to different types of audiences have been enhanced through my work as a contributing writer for the National Geographic History Magazine. In these classes you will be able to learn, depending on your choices...: - To recognise the main artworks of the Art world History. - To wander through the art of the Ancient World. - To identify the key aspects of historical periods. - To identify the main artworks and understand the sociocultural contexts of production. - To carry out iconographical analysis of specific artworks. - The Archaeology of Greece and Rome.
