My piano technique is based on the Enrique Granados school and his specific touch-based method, emphasizing sound and proper pedal use. We will work on three basic sections: technique exercises, studies, and works from all styles (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, etc.). We will also cover music theory (theory + daily exercises from the ABSRM method), solfège, choral singing, written ear training, score analysis, and concert listening exercises. In addition to my in-person lessons, my online classes feature high-quality audio and video specifically designed for musicians: via the Zoom video call app (with settings that typically offer better sound for piano), and using OBS production software so you can clearly see the keyboard and hands from different angles. I have taken my first lesson with Lynette and it was a great experience. I have been singing for some time at a choir, but have no formal training and want to learn the fundamental technique, and also work on some of the pieces we sing at the choir. The lesson was very practical, dynamic and she pays great attention to detail. After the class I could feel the improvement on the areas we have covered and felt much more confident on my skills.
