Alberto - Onex74€
Trusted teacher: Krav Maga: Modern Art It all starts with a choice: Refuse violence, refuse to be dominated by violence and even the fear of violence, be it verbal, emotional and especially physical. One of the means to achieve this goal: the art of Krav Maga Created in the late 1960s in Israel by Master Imi Lichtenfeld (1910-1998), Krav Maga was designed and forged especially to respond to any form of physical aggression. The basis on which Krav Maga is based is REALITY: it is unpredictable, multiform, brutal and forgives only very few errors. From this observation, it is easier to understand the characteristics of Krav Maga and especially what distinguishes it from traditional martial arts that also offer a module "self-defense". Krav Maga is indeed: -ambitious: he aspires to treat any situation of physical aggression be it against a aggressor without weapon, with weapon (knife, ax, machete, long stick, short, bat of baseball, rope, gun ... ), from any position (standing in the front, back, left, right, sitting on a chair, sitting on the floor, kneeling, lying on the back ...), regardless of the nature of the terrain, regardless of the brightness, whatever the weather. Humility: Reality imposes its conditions as the presence of STRESS whose effects must be recognized and never be neglected. -realistic: the fear, the nervousness, the anxiety felt by the individual in a situation of aggression do not allow him complicated gestures that he can not remember and that he can not even perform physically! -simple: short gestures, direct, linear most often, that go "straight to the point", easy to learn, easy to remember, easy to perform under ... stress! -Logic: it is the Principles that make Krav Maga and not the techniques that are only tools in the service of an Art that analyzes, reflects and provides the most accurate and efficient answer to the problem. -polyvalent: thanks to logic and pragmatism, Krav Maga gives itself the potential to resolve in a decisive way an incalculable number of problems because it can go towards "the unknown" by means of "known". -Educator: Through a pedagogy based on the pressure of the student, it gradually learns to manage his emotions, his mind, his body and gradually acquires greater self-control. -human: according to Imi Lichtenfeld's teaching, one must demand of oneself the highest level of competence so as not to have to take a life or even to hurt - as far as possible - his or her aggressors. I try to pass on the philosophy of the creator of Krav Maga, Master Imi Lichtenfeld, who saw his art as much more than a "defensive weapon" formidable for its efficiency. Indeed, Krav Maga is before a whole a vehicle to reach the blooming of the individual by the control of oneself thanks to the conscience of having adapted tools - because realistic - to manage and even to neutralize the violence under all its forms. The Art created by Imi Lichtenfeld is, as the experience of teaching proves, very flexible and endowed with a very great faculty of adaptation because each student shows different expectations. The greatest satisfaction is to see how the individual reveals himself to himself through Krav Maga which, by its simplicity and intensity, allows everyone, with sincere practice, to get to the bottom of his doubts and his doubts. fears. In a particular class, I am an instructor who asks the student of the intensity and physical and mental, curiosity, sense of observation, the spirit of synthesis, the ability to constantly search for the "common denominator In their practice of Krav Maga and ... good mood!

Trusted teacher: Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine? Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters? If you have those concerns, I would love to help you. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story. I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French. I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.

Bastien - Zurich37€
Trusted teacher: Have you been staring at the equations that the teachers write as if you were looking at hieroglyphs on the wall? Do you feel stuck when you are confronted by your exercises, not a single idea coming to mind? My name is Bastien, I studied Physics for my Bachelor's at EPFL and a Master's in Quantum Engineering at ETH. During my studies, I was a Teaching Assistant for classes in Electromagnetism, Fluid Dynamics, Analysis, and Special Relativity. I also gave private lessons to students in need before their exams. Through these experiences, I discovered that no matter your level we all tend to get stuck in front of math equations at one point or another. We get lost in the details and seem to be unable to see the big picture, to understand where all of this is going, and why any of it is useful at all. In these classes, I want to help you deal with these issues. It doesn't matter if you are in middle school, high school, or starting your Bachelor's. The goal of these classes is to help you cultivate the skills needed not only to improve your grades but also to be a better problem solver. I will help you develop your passion and curiosity for mathematics. The passion that you maybe never knew you had! We will look at mathematics not as a monolithic entity but as a language. Ultimately, mathematical excellence can be decomposed into four primary skills: memory, patience, curiosity, and creativity. During this class, we will: 🟢 Assess in which areas you are struggling 🟢 Come up with a plan tailored to your needs 🟢 Fill in the gaps in your understanding 🟢 Stay up to date with the content of your classes Mathematics in the end is not about the mathematics themselves. It is about the problems they allow us to solve and the language they give us to confront them. If you have any questions about this class, my availability, or pricing, please don't hesitate to contact me. Click the blue "Contact Bastien" button above and let's discuss!

Dirk - St Peter Port34€
Trusted teacher: No, we don't think that being able to sing is absolutely necessary for actors. Not every actor or actress has the ambition to appear in a musical and not every series or film features singing. Still, vocal coaching is a good idea... whether you want to learn to sing or not! With your course fee you can participate in any of our courses whenever you want. This way you can not only learn to act, but also taste our courses in debate and presentation techniques (our TV course), communication, singing, improvisation, 'physical acting', lie detection, hypnosis, directing, or writing! Of course, the following applies: the more you follow 1 particular course, the faster you progress. More info Anyone who has ambitions as a singer or who wants to expand his or her skills to make it easier to land a role will soon end up taking singing lessons... but also those who have no intention of ever performing songs. can benefit greatly from vocal coaching. You often have to be on set for a long time and then it is important to use your voice properly, so that it does not get tired and you can speak as powerfully after hours of recording as before. Finally, it is very useful to be able to put different effects on your voice. Just think of the raspy character of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, the barking explanations of Samson, the full voice of Kabouter Plop or the grunted insults exchanged in The Chronicles of Sabrina. Judiciously used voice effects can not only add color to characters, they are sometimes essential or almost automatically arise from emotional moments. So being able to use them correctly and maintain control over them without damaging your vocal cords is essential. What you learn As is the case with almost all of our courses, we teach you techniques from different approaches. For our singing lessons, these are Speech Level Singing (SLS), Estill Voice Training (EVT) and Complete Vocal Technique (CVT). Here are some things that will pass in review: • The similarities and differences between the three major singing techniques • Using support • The larynx, lips, and other organs that help control voice production • Add necessary twang • Add air or not • Different vocal modes (with CVT): neutral, curbing, overdrive and edge. • Variety of voice effects including: creaking, distortion, grunting, rattling, screaming, vibrato and ornamentation • For actors: relationship between voice color, effects and the playing of all kinds of characters • For actors: the relationship between stem kle Extras • Help with the CV • Assistance with admissions • Help in choosing the right equipment • Help with finding auditions • Syllabus with pdf of the book Complete Vocal Technique You can participate whenever you want!

Alberto is an excellent teacher: professional, focused, and fun. He takes the training seriously but keeps the atmosphere light and engaging with a great sense of humor. Although French is his main language, he also teaches in English, which makes the classes really accessible for us. He tailors his approach to each student’s level and physique. My girlfriend and I really appreciate how he adapts techniques to suit us individually. His private studio is fully equipped and comfortable. It's an ideal place to train, and he also offers collective courses. Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn Krav Maga in a supportive and effective environment.

I'm really glad that I can take bass lessons from Christophe, as a professional bass player, he has really good skills and can adapt easily according to students' levels and preferences. Also, he is really responsible, and he sent the course notes to me very promptly after each lesson, which helped me to memorize better. For questions that I may have about bass, he is also quite responsive, through which I've learnt a lot. I strongly recommend Christophe, for his profession, friendliness, as well as patience and responsibility. And I'm also sure that he will be a good tutor and friend as well in your bass journey.
