Trusted teacher: Hello, welcome to my ad! My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. Over the years, I have been able to accompany around forty students, both in private lessons, group lessons and at the conservatory where I teach today. OPTION1) The course I offer is aimed at beginner to intermediate level guitarists, of all ages (children too!), in acoustic and electric guitar. My goal is to give you the essential basics of the instrument (body position, technique, chords) as well as an understanding of fundamental musical concepts (rhythm, ear, reading tablature and/or music theory) which will be very useful to you as a musician. We will base our learning as quickly as possible on real pieces of music, if possible suggested by the student because I think that learning by playing the music you like is the most motivating method. As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities. Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun. OPTION 2) This course is for intermediate to advanced guitarists (and musicians in general) who want to acquire a deeper understanding of music theory. What we can cover, depending on your needs: analysis, harmony, composition, transcription, improvisation, music theory, ... Lessons can take place at my home, in the 15th arrondissement, or at the student's home where I can travel (for an extra) within a reasonable radius. Declared via CESU (Universal Employment Service Check) or self-employed invoice.

I am currently enrolled at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris learning Classical Piano and in the course of the "Diploma Superieur de Execution". I started the piano at the age of 5. I was born in a musical family; both of my parents being opera singers and my sister a violinist. When I was 8 years old, my family moved to Budapest, Hungary, where I started to have lessons privately with professors at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. In High-School, I enrolled at the Bartok Conservatory of Music in Budapest. I was awarded the Bachelors as well as the Master's Degree at the Franz Liszt Academy and have graduated with the Highest Honors in Piano Performance. I would like to share and teach what took me many years to learn in just a few months. I know that there are those who have and had difficulties like me learning the piano and feeling stuck or non-progressive, or not being able to improve. I have solutions to those problems. If you are one of those in need of quick and fast adjustments, please do not hesitate to contact me! I have a teaching experience of 6 years and all my students were those who needed assistance with international competitions, entrance exams, and general piano learning.
