My lessons are personalized, efficient, and at eye level. Who I am – and why I teach: I teach in Bern and successfully completed the MAS program in Statistical Data Science at the University of Bern, focusing on statistics, mathematics, and data science. For several years, I have been passionately teaching, both in academic contexts and for professionals who want to think and work more data-driven. In parallel to my teaching, I have implemented numerous data science projects – from exploratory analysis and data modeling to decision support in a business context. This combination of theory and practice makes my teaching particularly close to reality while remaining accessible. I love making complex topics tangible, creating aha moments, and empowering people to handle data confidently. For me, tutoring isn't just about imparting knowledge—it's about developing their minds on equal terms. -What you can expect from me: One-to-one lessons with a focus on data comprehension, statistics & analytical thinking Support with projects, assignments, exams or getting started in the data world Practical explanations – step by step and adapted to your everyday life Teaching modern methods for data analysis, modeling & interpretation Long-term strategies for problem-solving & structured thinking Flexible lessons in Bern or online – personal, competent & reliable Why I can help you understand data science: Because I work at the interface between science and practice. I know how quickly you can get lost in formulas and tools—and I'll help you see the common thread: How data tells stories, how you analyze it, and how you make smart decisions. With me, you won't just learn methods—you'll learn how to think with data. Whether in your studies or in your career, I'll guide you in truly understanding data and applying it confidently. Learn data analysis. Analyze and model complex data sets – understandable, practical and with structure. If you're ready to get to grips with data, I'm ready to guide you.

Trusted teacher: Hi, I’m Gaia! I’m a professional violinist and passionate teacher. My course is designed for motivated violinists who are looking for guidance to grow and advance, as well as for beginners interested in discovering the world of the violin. My teaching approach focuses on developing a strong musical sense together with a clear and structured methodology that ensures complete technical training.
Among my greatest interests are pedagogy and psychology ; I read extensively on these topics to become the most well-rounded teacher I can be, capable of helping children, teenagers, and adults in their musical learning. During my teaching activity, I often find myself recalling lessons and insights I received from my own mentors throughout my studies. I enjoy translating advanced concepts into simple and digestible forms for children and young students. I believe that every teacher has the responsibility to believe in the potential of each student and to constantly challenge themselves to find ways to make even complex ideas accessible. It is precisely at this age that the most important seeds of growth are planted. I deeply believe that music is a personal investment that contributes to the full development of the individual. For this reason, I always prioritize empathy, mutual respect, and commitment in my lessons. A lasting improvement on the instrument can only be built on these foundations. I also strive to keep my teaching informed by reading and researching beyond instrumental technique ;providing my students with a historically and theoretically aware approach to every piece we study. I completed my Bachelor’s studies at the HMTMH Hannover (graduating with top marks, German 1.0 / Swiss 6.0 equivalent), and I am currently finishing my Specialized Master in Music Performance and Specialized Master in Chamber Music at the Musik Akademie Basel. I have extensive experience in concert and ensemble performance and have been among the laureates of the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition, the Città di Padova International Violin Competition, the Feast of Duos Sion, and a finalist at the ROSL Chamber Music Competition in London.
With my ensemble Trio Venere, I had the opportunity to perform in a public masterclass with Steven Isserlis at Wigmore Hall. Coming from a musical family with a strong pedagogical tradition, I had the privilege to learn not only through my formal studies but also by observing my parents teach from an early age. I have over seven years of teaching experience, and several of my students have successfully passed entrance exams for Italian conservatories (higher education) and won prizes in national youth competitions.

It was a pleasure studying classical piano with Xiang and i recommend him as a teacher for piano. Xiang gave me guidance on hand relaxation, horizontal movements, rhytm and other ways of practicing, scales tips, pedalling, fingering and general tips. over few months of (bi)weekly lessons, he gave me guidance on few Czerny pieces and Chopin etude 12 op 10. Xiang can “sight read” some Chopin etudes at the speed that takes me several week to practice, this was amazing and inspiring to observe!:)
