My apologies to Vendula for not having written this review before now. Three weeks ago I was in Lyon for the weekend and Vendula was my tutor. I chose Vendula as she seemed to be very bubbly, friendly and understanding of my learning needs and level. Her communication was excellent and she gave much thought about how best to maximise my learning experience. We met as agreed and Vendula was exactly how she seemed - interested, interesting and passionate about providing the best learning environment for me, and she was incredibly patient. I throughly enjoyed her company and we experienced much of Lyon’s culture, including local delicacies, cafe theatre entertainment and the popular Sunday fresh food market. Vendula had taken the time to prepare 9 tasks for me, which ranged from speaking with strangers to obtain information to solving clues relating to Lyon history. It was excellent and provided a great framework for my learning. I strongly recommend Vendula and hope that one day we can meet again, for me to advance my French conversational skills further. I have been working with Andrey for about 2 months now, and I have to say he has been instrumental in my language learning journey. I have been working with him in different time zones across the world, and he has always been game to make something work -either taking appointments in the early afternoon, or the evenings. His understanding of French grammar and pronunciation, as well as his second to none note-taking skills, have allowed me to work on the parts of the French language that I struggle with most. He does all this while maintaining a relaxed and comfortable environment, where I feel ok to take things slower when I need to and transition back to English when necessary. It is honestly a pleasure to work with someone who understands how to teach the language to a native English speaker and has the materials to offer during the learning journey as well. No comment he gives, goes without thought, and I am thrilled to be working with someone who cares as much as I do about me becoming more comfortable with French.

My French teacher is amazing. In our one-on-one lessons, he's very patient. When I make mistakes, he gently corrects me, which makes learning fun, not scary. He's really approachable and friendly, always smiling and encouraging. We have good chats after class too. He often asks about my day and listens. Sometimes, he notices things I'm struggling with and offers help before I even ask. It feels great having a teacher who cares and supports me both in and out of class. I'm lucky to learn from him.
