Hello, I am a native Chinese speaker. I speak Mandarin, English, Teochew, Hakka, and Cantonese. My undergraduate and master's degrees are in International Chinese Language Education. I hold a junior high school Chinese language teacher's certificate issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education and an international Chinese language teacher's certificate issued by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education. I also have a Level 2A Mandarin Proficiency Certificate. I have three years of university-level Chinese teaching experience. Currently, I live in Slovenia and primarily teach Chinese online. I advocate for individualized instruction. My students have ranged from university students majoring in Sinology to elementary school students who started learning Chinese at age eight, to retired lawyers passionate about learning Chinese, and even chemistry students who became interested in Chinese culture through Chinese TV dramas. I tailor my teaching plans to the individual needs of each student. Our classes are enriching and engaging. The textbooks I have used include the HSK series, Happy Chinese, New Practical Chinese textbooks, New Silk Road Business Chinese, and Practical Audiovisual Chinese (Traditional Chinese), among others. The specific textbooks will be chosen based on the students' needs.
