Welcome to my music school!
I'm a successful piano and voice instructor with over twenty years of experience in the music industry and education, and currently working online from my studio with students of all levels and ages all around the world. I'm also a music teacher in producer Gordon Williams' music academy in New York (known for his work with Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, Carlos Santana...).
I teach piano, vocals, music theory, and songwriting.

In addition, I also help students prepare for auditions like The Voice of Broadway, or record a song in the studio.
I have created a method based on my experience as a professional musician and singer, that allows my students to achieve their goal and enjoy singing right away.

Welcome to Lalabela Music Academy!

I am a piano, singing, music theory and writing/composition teacher, with more than twenty years of experience in the recording industry and education. I specialize in current/modern music but I teach all musical styles.

Graduated from the National Conservatory of Music and the University of Cambridge in 2013, I joined the New York school of producer with 7 Grammy Awards, Gordon Williams (known for his work with Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill or Alicia Keys) . I teach piano and singing in French and English, and I help students prepare for auditions like the Voice, or record a first song in the studio.

At the same time, I provide support and coaching to young artists, and I organize workshops and singing improvement courses in English for adults, children and adolescents.

I have created a direct and rapid method which is directly inspired by my years of experience to best share my know-how with my students.

As each student is unique, as soon as we start lessons, I will put in place a program adapted to your needs, your level, your musical tastes in order to best help you in your musical journey. In the first session we will make an assessment and then discuss the best way to move forward.

Learning to play the guitar can be an amazing experience at every stage of the process! My ultimate goal is to help my students to develop their skills and musical understanding by learning and playing music that they like.

I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years.
The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing!

I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard.

My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student.

Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you.

A bit about me:

Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.
