Hi there! My name is Thanos and I'm a specialized piano teacher, with 4 years of experience.
I'm a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague with a Master in Music Education. I have also a Bachelor degree in Piano Performance from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki.
In my lessons, I'm aiming at creating a friendly atmosphere for my students, as it is essential for the learning process. I'm also ready to create a customized lesson plan for every student depending on their needs and goals. About Me

I'm a passionate musician, teacher and an active pianist.
During my first cycle of studies, I was engaged with how to perform and be a concert pianist. Later I realised that it gives me great satisfaction to share the insights that I have learned with other people and I pursued and completed my second cycle of studies in the field of Pedagogy.
My primary goal as a teacher is to help my students create a healthy bond between technique and musical expression. In my lessons I emphasize at motivation and encouragement which are important for reaching the goals that, together with my students, we will create and help each of them according to their special way and pace of learning.

Hello! I am a classically trained pianist with a Master's Degree from the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
I have 9 years of teaching experience, with students from all ages and levels. My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations while passing on my knowledge to help the student develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music.

I organize 2 class concerts per year in a beautiful venue, so that the pupils perform their favourite pieces and showcase their progress to family, friends, and classmates.

Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo.

Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory.

I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs.

Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score.

Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom.

I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training.

Currently students from 4 to 76 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive.

I have a diploma in piano pedagogy. I studied didactics and methodology for teaching piano. I use modern methods and piano books. I have a big collection of music sheets available for my students. Age does not matter when it comes to learning, just enjoying it. Lessons for beginners to more advanced students.
Always trying to keep a creative environment where the students can express themselves in all aspects.
I believe that it is necessary to be constant. The ideal would be one hour or hour and a half a week, but that depends on the student availability. I would provide a personal adaptation.

I like playing games, singing and coming up to most creative solutions for learning fast inside of a save space for questions and imagination of the student. It is very important to motivate the students regarding to their music tastes.

I consider myself an involved and motivated musician. I am constantly trying to learn new styles and enjoy so much doing it. At the moment I am studying my second bachelor degree in music, specifically in Early Music.

Hello!

I am an undergraduate student of Den Haag's Royal Conservatoire jazz department. I'm giving jazz piano/ classical piano/ music theory/ear training lessons for students of every level. Together, we can learn how to think of harmony/ chords, how to improvise over tunes, and how we can apply music theory on the keyboard. Also, we can work on piano technique through exercises, etudes and classical piano repertoire. I'm really passionate about music, and my main goal is to pass my love to other people. My name is Sakura. I am a baroque violinist, graduated with a master of early music department at Koninglijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. I play the modern violin, viola, medieval fiddle and keyboard instruments as well.
Happy to share the music with you with all of my experiences of my music life and what I learned. Started playing the piano at 3 years old and the violin at 7 years old, then went to the music high school and Tokyo university of the Art in Japan. Music is in our everyday life, whether we realise it or not. To go into music and start learning it is as natural as learning how to walk, cycle, or even breathe! Whichever the instrument, It is one of the most beautiful experiences we can give ourselves, bound to take us to new and undiscovered places.

My name is João, I'm from Portugal, I'm 27 years of age, and I have a bachelor in jazz from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I've been playing piano all my life, and can't wait to share what I've learned with you!

I teach piano to all ages from beginner to intermediate. Although I have a program, I will let you create your own path, taking into account the several landmarks I create according to your level and needs. Teaching is all about the individuality of each person I work with, and as a student myself, I find it to be one of the most important points in teaching.

I focus mainly on jazz, but since music theory and harmony touch all kinds of music, I am open to the suggestions you bring into class. The lessons will focus on learning music through listening, as well as introducing the student to music theory, and reading scores. Whether you like Pop, Jazz, Bossa Nova, or Classical, all music comes from the same place, so let's dive in!

In my experience it is important to follow you as a student on the amount of time we spend in lesson, so the length of the lesson is determined by you in the moment, and what we are working on in the lesson. Because of this my rate per lesson in fixed, so depending on the moment and you we can have bigger or smaller lessons.
