Whether you're ordering hummus in Damascus, in a meeting in Beirut, or want to express solidarity, or seeking to connect with Arabic communities in Europe, you will use Levantine Arabic. A key advantage is its widespread understandability. Most Arabic speakers from other regions, like Yemen, Egypt, and Tunisia, understand Levantine Arabic, though the reverse is not always true.
