I am a CELTA certified English teacher and have been teaching English full-time since 2014 in countries such as Ireland, China, Japan and now in Austria. I have taught both adults and children in private lessons as well as groups. My students have been everything from business professionals to teenagers preparing for their exchange year abroad to young children having their first contact with a foreign language. My greatest strength as a teacher is my experience in using different methods of teaching as well as different levels of students. I customize all my lessons to my students’ needs. Whether you are just beginning to learn English or already have a high level of English and are looking to keep up your skills or perhaps master a grammar point or two, I am confident I can help you achieve your goal. As a teacher, I will customize each of our lessons to your needs and wants. Usually, this means that I will assess your level of English during our first lesson. Then by asking you specific questions I find out more about why you are studying English and what is the goal you wish to achieve. We will also together decide what kind of materials (if any) we will use during our lessons. All of this I do so I know how to help you achieve your personal goal. It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)

Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed. It is very evident he is professional and has more than enough education and knowledge to teach the language very thoroughly!! I would highly recommend to take him as a teacher!

Jenni was great with our 10 year old son. He just started to learn English and doesn't like it that much. Nevertheless, Jenni succeeded in motivating him to talk English one and a half hours. It was a great lesson, Jenni is a highly skilled teacher!
