Piano lessons adapted to your taste and level. You tell us what you expect from the lessons so that I can give you optimal piano lessons.

For example: you want to learn to read and play piano pieces. I must also give you the relevant theory. It is your choice to study additional theory, but it is not necessary. My lessons are therefore efficiently oriented. As a student, you can ultimately choose which piano pieces we work on (it must first be approved by me), so that playing the piano remains fun and educational. I cover classical music, pop music, video games, movies, anime music, etc... so many genres!

Another example: you want to make a piano cover of an existing piece (e.g. pop music or movie music). I will give you the theory of chords and reading staves. This way you can get started quickly. Together we will practice enough so that you understand everything well! We can also improvise together on your piano.

I have already given private lessons to adults, teenagers and children both online and in person. Both options work great! We do this online via Skype or another app if desired. Physically we do it in Leuven city centre, where there is a handy large indoor bicycle shed.
Ideally I teach once a week, you then continue practicing on your piano at home towards the next lesson the following week. If you would like lessons every other week or lessons twice a week, that is also possible for me.

Why choose to learn to play the piano? It has been scientifically proven that playing an instrument makes someone smarter (good brain training). You can show your piano skills to others, but you can also make yourself happy and reward through your piano. I've heard from my friends that they regret not learning to play an instrument, hopefully you won't be like them...

About Me

* As a child I practiced a lot at the piano, I have been taking piano lessons since I was 10. I was able to play the full version of Fur Elise as a first-year piano student when I was 10 years old. Practice makes perfect!
* I would like to hire a student who wants to learn to play the piano. This way I can share my knowledge, experience and passion for piano with this student!

I followed AMV and AMC during my piano career, and I also studied accompaniment practice. I studied piano at the AMWD.

I am passionate about teaching guitar! Over the last 10 years I have been teaching students from ages 7-70 from complete beginners to advanced players with one thing in common - their wish to play guitar more comfortably and have fun while doing it!

I am a classical guitarist with a background in pedagogy, psychology and physiotherapy, my approach - methodical.

The flute it’s a quite complex instrument, where the challenge is to find the balance between all the parameter, such as posture(in order to learn how to play fast passage), lips and everything concerning breathing technique(in order to get the best clear and powerful sound).

Hey!

I can help you! I've been playing piano for about 15 years now after studying Pop & Jazz, and I've performed in a variety of genres. I also have a diploma in Electronic Music Production from Point Blank Music School, and I'm currently working as a keyboardist and producer for the pop group. I primarily play pop music, but we can certainly explore other genres as well.

For piano lessons, I recommend 30 minutes so we can cover new topics each lesson, which you can then practice at home. For producing/mixing, 60 minutes is more suitable if you want to master it faster, but you can certainly learn it in 30 minutes per lesson.

A native of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Olivé began his piano studies under the guidance of Professor Marcilda Clis. Upon entering UNIRIO, he started taking lessons with the pianist and composer Claudio Dauelsberg. He holds a degree in piano from the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe in Germany, where he was a student of Professor Kaya Han. He spent 2 years in Portugal, where he taught at the Academia de Música de Almada. He also received guidance from Professor and pianist Manuel Araújo of the Academia Internacional de Música Aquilles Delle Vigne in Coimbra. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Piano Performance at LUCA School of Arts in Belgium, with the renowned pianist Sylvia Thereza as his teacher.

He has been awarded in national and international competitions, such as the VII Sardoal Young Talent Award (2nd Prize - ex-aequo in the Piano Solo category; 2nd Prize and Best Portuguese Duo in the Piano Duo category), the Prof. Dichler-Competition 2022 in Vienna (2nd Prize - ex aequo in the Piano Duo category), the I National Piano Competition of the Villa-Lobos Music School (Honorable Mention) in Rio de Janeiro, and the XXVI Souza Lima Piano Competition (Honorable Mention) in São Paulo.

His classes are intended for anyone who wants to start learning music theory and piano or those who already have basic or advanced knowledge. From Classical to Popular music, his teaching method adapts to the goals and individual desires of the student. Hello, I am Laís!
I am a pianist and dedicated piano teacher with advanced academic training in both Brazil and Belgium, currently completing my second Master’s degree at LUCA School of Arts under the guidance of Sylvia Thereza, a respected pianist and former student of the great Maria João Pires. My musical journey has also taken me to Sweden through an exchange program, and I have been fortunate to receive several prestigious scholarships along the way, supporting both my artistic and academic development.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, including 6 years working extensively with online students from different backgrounds and levels. Throughout this time, I have helped students achieve meaningful goals, including successful admission into a German music university. My approach is both structured and flexible: I focus on building a solid technical foundation while nurturing musical expression, always adapting to each student’s pace and personality.

Lessons take place mostly in the heart of Leuven, and I also offer online lessons to students anywhere in the world.
