About Me
Born in a small village in southern Spain, I started playing the clarinet in the local band at the age of seven. What began as a hobby has now become my profession and passion. My musical roots lie in Seville, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in clarinet. Subsequently, I completed my Master's in Classical Clarinet Performance at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
For my Master's final exam, I designed my own show in which I combined improvisation and dance – an experience that has strongly shaped my artistic path.
I have been able to refine my clarinet technique thanks to lessons and masterclasses from internationally renowned musicians, such as Annelien Van Wauwe, Antonio Salguero, Steffan Schilling, Nicola Boud (historical clarinet), Ernst Schlader (historical clarinet), Pascal Moraguès, Hermann Stefánsson, and others. I feel deeply inspired by these teachers, as well as by my own experiences as a clarinet teacher and music & movement teacher.
In my lessons, I believe in learning through playing: music should be fun, just as I have always experienced it myself. Whether you are a child or an adult, a beginner or advanced, making music is an opportunity to enjoy, share, and create – regardless of age or background.
I invite you to discover the world of the clarinet and enjoy music together.
(PS I am learning Dutch myself, so we are discovering new languages together!)
