Trusted teacher: I have taken Mathematics classes in primary, middle, and high school in Poland. When studying abroad in the USA I also took a Precalculus class. Studying, now, at Leiden University College I have also completed a Statistics course. I have learned a variety of topics in mathematics, whether it would be fractions, basic multiplications, divisions, graphs, quadratic equations, and many more. During my final year of high school, taking the International Baccalaureate Program and Mathematics Analysis and Approaches Standard Level, I received a 6 on the final exam. I would be able to tutor in preparation for exams, school work, basic comprehension, or better understanding of topics, or if one wants to expand their knowledge beyond what is required at school. Even though Mathematics can be logical and intuitive, at times it is also very complex and requires a lot of training to comprehend it. I believe teaching through practice is the best way to learn. Repetition is key to learning effectively, this way we may memorize the acquired knowledge for longer and successfully become more comfortable in mathematics. I started as a complete beginner and not being really confident about my voice. Nonetheless, Filipe made me feel at ease from the very first lesson. Filipe is really motivating and he conveys his passion for singing during every class, which always makes me feel stronger and reenergized. Also, while he lets you practice and work together on the songs you love, he is very professional and provides guidance in every technical aspect of singing, from breath support and articulation, to finding resonances within your body, as well as how to mentally approach a song. My son just had his first piano lesson with Joel and he loved it. When the hour was finished my son felt a bit disappointed as he wanted to continue and said the class had gone by super fast. After Joel left our house my son told me he would really like to continue taking lessons with him as he felt he learned a lot and had a lot of fun. I personally liked Joel’s communication and professionalism when scheduling the class, and the planning of the curriculum going forward. I think my son will learn a lot from his classes with him.
