I have very high scores in my A-Level (UK curriculum) exams in Mathematics, Accounting and Economics backed up by good first and second year grades at the University of Amsterdam. I can teach any topic of the mentioned subjects for students undertaking VMBO, VWO, or HBO level education.

I have a flexible schedule so I can allocate many different time slot options for you. I can help you prepare for your VMBO/VWO exams.

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and besides I teach private students.

Lessons can be taught in English or Dutch and face-to-face or online, depending on the location.

Beste Leerling,

Ik bied in Amsterdam en omgeving bijles aan huis en online bijles aan voor leerlingen in het voortgezet onderwijs. De vakken waarin ik bijles geef zijn Wiskunde, Biologie en Scheikunde. De voorkeur ligt bij deze vakken i.v.m met mijn eigen biomedische achtergrond. Tijdens mijn studie heb ik als bijlesdocent gewerkt voor o.a. Instituut Vrijbergen, Nationale Eindexamentraing en Capita Selecta. Inmiddels heb ik mijn eigen ZZP-onderneming en werk voornamelijk in Amsterdam en omgeving. Omdat ik zelf over een auto beschik, ben ik hierin flexibel om ook naar jou te verplaatsen. Uiteraard worden momenteel de bijlessen online of met gepaste afstand gegeven.

Ik ben een ervaren bijlesdocent met meer dan 10 jaar ervaring met leerlingen op zowel middelbare school, studenten op HBO als WO niveau. Naast vakinhoudelijke kennis ondersteun ik ook leerlingen bij het maken van praktische opdrachten en profielwerkstukken. Examentraining geven is mijn specialiteit.

I believe anyone can learn math. And with an average rating of 8.5 for my exam training at, among others, lyceo, I have experienced a lot of others doing the same.

We usually start with some (simple) exercises around the subject to gauge your understanding. This way I can construct a tailor-made approach that guarantees you will see the light. There are, of course, no real guarantees in education. But I can guarantee that after every hour of tutoring, you will be a little closer to the math genius that you really are.

In addition, in the past two years, I have gained a lot of experience in online education. I now have a drawing tablet, an iPad, and an external microphone (worth 300 euros) to be able to deliver the best experience online.

Mathematics, physics and arithmetic are subjects that many people have difficulty with. I believe that with good guidance, anyone can get a good grade for these subjects. During the lessons we look at what the stumbling points are, which I will then explain in the best possible way what is clearest for the student. Exact subjects can be made much easier by applying handy tricks. During the lessons I will convey this in the clearest possible way. Everyone thinks differently and I take that into account. Bijles voor basis-en middelbare scholieren. Ik heb het meest ervaring in het geven van bijles Nederlands (begrijpend lezen, taal , woordenschat en spelling) en Wiskunde (Rekenen basisschool en wiskunde 1e en 2e leerjaar) maar ook met andere onderwerpen kan je bij mij terecht.
De bijlessen worden bij voorkeur online gegeven, maar indien de afstand niet heel groot is, is er een mogelijkheid bij de leerling thuis.
