Trusted teacher: Hi there! I'm Lynn, a languages and all culture-related enthusiast with a particularly keen interest in singing, storytelling and transdisciplinary art. Which in turn led me to be a freshly graduated Master-student in Performing Arts, with a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Letters where I primarily studied English as well as Russian linguistics and literature, along with a Dutch minor. These university years gave me the opportunity amongst others to learn more in-depth about the subjects I was most passionate about during my Art Humanities, i.e. performance studies, philosophy, art - and cultural history, as well as literary/critical analysis of various different artforms. Brought up bilingual (French-Dutch) from earliest infancy, I very early came to realise the many possibilities and encounters this opened up, which encouraged me to continue down this path of language learning and intercultural communication. At first, I was incredibly fortunate to benefit from the work of a truly invested and passionate English teacher during the scope of my humanities and to acknowledge all of the difference that it makes when learning a foreign language. Subsequently, prior to my studies I got the chance to travel to Ireland for a year during which I mainly worked as an au pair. This not only took my English to the next level, but also sharpened my childcare skills and pedagogical abilities. Maggie is a very competent and dependable teacher for Toefl preparation. She knows the structure of the test very well and was able to provide helpful guidance and useful exercises. She was also good at spotting which area my daughter was weaker at, focussed and worked on it with her to achieve better overall results.

Sonia was very active and push me to the limit to speak Spanish until the end of the course. My level was very basic so even if it was difficult for me she took the time to explain some notion of grammar and vocabulary.
