My name is Davy, I am 34 years old and have had the guitar in my fingers for 25 years. I graduated from the Music Academy Tongeren for both classical and electric guitar. Hello! This year I obtained my Master's degree in violin at LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens under Lei Wang and am now starting my adventure as a professional violinist. I have been giving private lessons for six years now and hope to teach more this coming academic year than was previously compatible with my studies. In my lessons, I find it most important that students have fun and feel comfortable in their own skin. In my opinion, this is an essential prerequisite for continuous motivation to learn technically and musically, with a focus on a pace that feels right for the student. My teaching method varies greatly per student because I try to adapt each lesson to what suits the student best and what they need at a particular moment in the lesson. Besides being a musician at heart, I also have a strong interest in psychology.
