I am Lucía, I graduated of the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education with a specialisation in English at the University of Alicante last 2023, including an Erasmus+ experience in Belgium. In parallel, I have completed a Master’s Degree in ICT Applied to Education (VIU) and I also finished my specialising in Hearing and Language (Camilo José Cela University, Madrid).

Throughout my academic journey, I have gained experience through various internships and roles in educational and recreational settings, including as a coordinator of recreational-educational activities, a summer school instructor at the University of Alicante, and in robotics and IT education at a local school.

I offer private or small group lessons (maximum 3 students) for Primary Education in Spanish, Catalan (Valencian), and English, and also for students in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO).

My teaching approach is based on gamification and real-life contexts to ensure meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).

We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength!

You can also choose the online lesson package with Whereby, Teams or Zoom in a comfortable way. Online classes are one-on-one or maximum one-on-two, for better results.

My English is fluent, as well as Portuguese and Spanish. I understand the difficulties of overcoming barriers for Latin languages and for expats in general, as I have also been an expat.

Online lessons last 75 minutes once a week for 10 weeks to reach a higher level.

This is the normal speed. Including exam training (A-2 or Staatsexamen) and exam at the end.

Intensive training ? That can also be done in five to ten full days, I am used to giving these very intensive trainings to CEOs or managers who want it faster and more intensive ... all lessons within 3 or 4 weeks. Based on the European system A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 and C-1

As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities.

I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar.

Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles.

I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.
