I would like to contribute to our society by bringing people together. Connecting them is my ambition and I want to work towards this goal. I am a Belgian student in my second year of Civil Engineering (KU Leuven). Recently, I realized this is not the direction I want to go. The courses being too theoretical to me, I was lacking the perspective of human interaction. The latter is the main incentive for my academic reorientation. In September, I will start a degree in Business Engineering. Before I start my new studies, I want to use the upcoming 5 months to share my knowledge and acquire complementary skills. Throughout my childhood, I noticed that my grandparents had some difficulties adapting to new technologies. I helped and still help them with their everyday usage struggles. Nick's approach is patient and thorough, informative and imaginative as well. He always comes up with his own examples in order to test my knowledge on a given exercise and helps me get to the answer at my own pace, rather than handing it to me. He doesn't use a one-size-fits-all method, but rather tailors his lesson in order to get out my full potential, even in a field I find difficult.
