Ioannis - Helsinki38€
Trusted teacher: Welcome to my class! I am Ioannis and I am an officially certified math teacher with an inherent passion for teaching the subject. I have acquired both a Bachelor's (NKUA) and a Master's degree (University of Helsinki) in Mathematics. I have further solidified my status as an officially certified math teacher by completing pedagogical studies (University of Helsinki). I offer tutoring for high school and university level Mathematics: please contact me with information on what you need help with. I facilitate online (usually via Zoom) and contact teaching and have significant previous experience in both. -For online teaching, I use a pen tablet where you can follow my writing without having to spend time coping everything down as I can later share the notes with you. This way you can focus more on understanding! -For contact teaching, I use the whiteboard that I have. I am always patient, encourage questions and facilitate in-depth learning. Moreover, I strongly believe that with practice and determination anyone can succeed in Mathematics. My teaching style is interactive: I ask and I am happy to answer lots of questions to ensure that you really understand the topic discussed. You shouldn't be afraid of giving a wrong answer as making mistakes is a crucial part of the learning process! Finally, I am flexible and open to try different methods that suit your profile as a student the most. If there are any questions do not hesitate to contact me. Let's get started!

Tafhimul - Helsinki36€
Trusted teacher: TL;DR: If you're preparing for the Digital SAT and need guidance, I'm here to help. I scored 1540 (750 in English, 790 in Math) and am currently studying Quantum Technology at Aalto University on a scholarship. Here's everything you need to know: About Me I’m currently a first-year bachelor’s student at the School of Science in Aalto University, where I secured a highly competitive full-tuition scholarship thanks to my SAT score (1540: Math 790, English 750). I’ve been an SAT tutor for over a year now, teaching both group classes and one-on-one sessions. In total, I’ve helped more than 70 students reach their SAT goals. Back in Bangladesh, I worked as an SAT instructor at Mentors' and developed the SAT teaching curriculum at Noetic. With this experience under my belt, I’ve designed a teaching method that’s effective, flexible, and, most importantly, tailored to you. How My Classes Work The SAT is all about finding patterns and mastering the "game". My classes are structured to help you do exactly that. In each class, I will teach you some theoretical basics first and then make you go through some actual SAT problems related to those basics. It's not about me showing you how to solve, rather it's about making you capable to think like a 1500+ scorer. In the process, I'll observe your thought process and give feedback on where you are going wrong and what you doing right. Sounds impressive? Here’s the class breakdown: English Classes Words in Context Text Structure and Purpose Cross-Text Connections Central Ideas and Details Command of Evidence (Textual, Quantitative) Inferences Boundaries Form, Structure, and Sense Rhetorical Synthesis Transitions Math Classes Algebra: 3 sessions Advanced Math: 3 sessions Problem Solving and Data Analysis: 3 sessions Geometry and Trigonometry: 2 sessions Don’t worry; the number of classes is flexible. If you’re already confident in certain topics, we’ll skip them and focus on what needs improvement. This isn’t a cookie-cutter course—it’s all about what works best for you. Logistics Duration: Each class is 1.5 hours. Preferred Schedule: After 6 PM (but we can discuss). Class Options: Online (Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams) or in-person (either at Aalto University, my place, or yours (applicable for Espoo and Helsinki)). Why Choose Me? Sure, there are tons of SAT prep courses out there. But when you hit a wall or feel like your progress has plateaued, that’s where I come in. You'll choose me because — a) I have a high score, so I know how to crack this. b) I have taken the SAT on Oct, 2023 and since then taught more than 70 students all over the world. So, I am updated with the curriculum and process. c) I am already studying in a reputed university with scholarship leveraging my SAT score. So, I can guide through the admission process (be it in Europe or US) as well. d) I am a no bullshit guy. If you need 2/3 classes only, that's fine. If you need 20 classes, that's also fine. I am here to make money but not to exploit. So, I offer huge flexibility. I’ll help you: Identify the SAT’s patterns and tricks. Focus on your weak areas while leveraging your strengths. Understand the nuances of scoring 1500+. Navigate college admissions (both in the U.S. and Europe). Plus, if you’re up for it, you’ll get free life advice and philosophical discussions along the way. (Yes, seriously.) What My Students Say A lot of my students start off feeling stuck and overwhelmed but end up feeling confident and in control. They’ve told me that my approach is not just practical and effective, but surprisingly enjoyable too! The SAT isn’t just a test—it’s a challenge you can conquer with the right mindset and strategies. Ready to Get Started? Whether you’re aiming for a 1200 or pushing for a 1550+, I’m here to help you achieve your goals. Let’s make this happen together. Reach out, and let’s chat about how I can support your SAT journey. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Superb experience with Raef. I asked for his help to prepare a math assessment test with an enormous lack of basis but he accepted the challenge. I found out a nice teacher who is not afraid of explaining and repeating if necessary. I did enjoy his method with the whiteboard, it feels like you are in the same place and can interact on the same exercise. Either in English or french he will certainly be able to help you. He is super kind and flexible, I definitively recommend his services.

Ayoub was very clear and explained things well. He checked if our son understands and gradually increased the level of difficulty. Our 15 year old son liked his lessons very much!
