Hello, I’m JeongYun, a violinist from South Korea, currently based in Ghent, Belgium.
I majored in Violin Performance and completed my studies in U.S. and the U.K., and I’m continuing my musical journey here in Europe.

I have experience teaching both children and adults — from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for auditions or recitals.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, focusing on building solid technique, expressive sound, and a genuine love for music.

For beginners, I emphasize creating a comfortable and enjoyable learning atmosphere, using simple melodies and creative exercises.
For intermediate or advanced students, I guide you in refining bow control, phrasing, and stage confidence, helping you find your own musical voice.

Lessons can be held in person (in Ghent) or online, and are available in Korean, English and Japanese.

I’m a violinist as well as language educator who have been in teaching over 8 years.

<Violinist>
With several years of teaching experience in both private lessons and group settings, I’ve guided students of different ages and backgrounds — from young beginners to adults rediscovering their love for learning. My lessons focus on: stay curous and interested, and finding it useful in daily life.

As I have been living in many different countries and have been meeting people from different background, I have wide perspective and knowledge of understanding diversity.

Above all, I want my students to feel inspired and confident every time they pick up their instrument.
Whether you’re preparing for an audition, learning for personal growth, or simply seeking the joy of playing, I’d love to help you on your musical journey.

I’ve taught English and Korean both in language academies and private lessons, guiding students of all ages — from beginners taking their first steps to advanced learners refining their fluency. I started playing violin at the age of 6, and studying with numerous professors made me realize how important an individualized pedagogical approach is for good development. My name is Renato and many years ago I graduated from the conservatory in Ghent in the direction of Jazz violin. Since then I have toured the world alongside groups and DJs such as: Sophia, Kungs, Bakermat, Jetlag, Stereo express and I am a permanent member of Klingande and Ollin Kan.
My lessons focus on learning to improvise with the violin on pop and jazz music and the use of your instrument in contemporary music.
An individual route is drawn up in consultation with the student's wishes.

Emmanuel's methodology:
Only private lessons of at least 1.5 hours long. You only pay for an hour, but you stay longer until you know the techniques.
Lessons can be given on a short or long basis, depending on the intended purpose.
Stand-alone lessons are also possible, if necessary this lesson is divided over 2 consecutive days.
