I am an enthusiastic, personable and committed teacher looking to facilitate the needs of others. I have an interest in arts & culture and work as a freelance theatre and opera director. I am a recent resident of Berlin, having moved over from the UK at the beginning of this year. I specialize in teaching English and adapting the sessions based on the students needs. I work with school children, young people and adults helping to improve grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking skills through a variety of engaging materials. Whether you are a complete beginner or would just like to practice English conversation, as a native speaker I can tailor sessions to the individuals needs. Whatever the desired outcome, I can help improve skills and build confidence in a relaxed setting.

I teach Davinci Resolve and Premiere Pro from beginner to advanced.

In the beginner and intermediate courses, all the important basics are covered and practiced using practical applications.

The advanced courses go into finer details, such as advanced editing techniques or shed light on specific processes such as proxy workflows or colour management.

Structure:

The technical lessons are structured in 1 hour modules, using practical examples and allow time for experimentation and questions.

I also teach editing theory and creative strategies across many different genres and styles. These are less structured and are tailored to specific needs.

Open Sessions are also possible, where you may bring along a personal project and I will offer you technical assistance, feedback or tips.

My name is Noah, and with me you’ll receive personal mentoring focused on developing artistic series, visual language, and coherent photographic projects. We will work with your personal vision, helping you find your own language and strengthen it.

I hold a diploma in Photography as well as in Ceramics Design. I have worked for almost eight years in the movie industry, both as a props maker and as an on-set photographer. Alongside this and my own personal projects, I also worked on fashion collaborations, including 3D scanning and multimedia techniques. So if you feel like mixing things up a bit and are drawn to fine art approaches, you are in the right place :)

I am happy to work with adults who already have their own practice, university students who want to strengthen their uniqueness or clarify their interests, as well as students applying to university.
