30€Conversations with a spanish master's student in Blackrock
Hiya, My name is Marta, I am Spanish student doing a Master's degree at UCD, and that's the reason why I am living in Blackrock, Dublin. I come from Valencia and I studied my BA in Humanities in Barcelona, specializing in Linguistics and Literature and finishing it in Puebla, Mexico, after having been awarded with a Santander Scholarship to study there for 6 months. I am very curious about Linguistics and understanding the basis of different languages and the differences between them, as I think each language reflects a way of seing the world for their speakers. My first languages are Catalan and Spanish, and I also speak Italian and English. During my time in Barcelona, I taught Latin for high school students and Spanish and Catalan for foreign people. I had a great time doing so and could learn about the difficulties that non-Spanish speakers face when it comes to grammar or memorizing some vocabulary related to their field of interest. After being happily adapted to my new life in Dublin, I decided it's time to get back to work and offer clases de lengua to: -to those that are curious and want to start to learn some Spanish (or Catalan!!) -to those who want to improve their Spanish or need some help to pass a certificate level -to those who just look for someone to practice their Spanish with while having a tea or a walk* + I am open to talk about specific cases, like if you want me to mind your children + make them start to be familiar with a second language. *For those who just want to improve their conversational skills while having a tea, my interests are arts and culture, sociology, psychology and history (my master's in International War Studies so I love to talk about current issues). I also enjoy travelling and getting to know other cultures and people. Otherwise, I am a very curious and respectful person and I am always willing to learn and talk about new things and acquire new interests. I ordered 10 lessons with Claudia and so far, I had already six of them. I can say that Claudia is a very knowledgeable and devoted teacher. She is fluent in English, has good communication skills and she has a good sense of humor, which helps creating a professional, and at the same time relaxed atmosphere. Certainly, I am glad hiring her and I consider to order more lessons.

Based on a few classes I have had with Mary, I can say she is a knowledgable and passionate teacher, who focuses not only on getting you to develop a playing technique but also on musicality. I feel I am progressing with every lesson. She is a lovely teacher and I would highly recommend her.

We had the first lesson with Gohar. Gohar is very capable to adjust to the level of experience and take the student from there. Speaking French but if necessary she explains in English. Very happy with the way Gohar is teaching.
