The development of listening to the inner song is at the heart of my teaching. For beginners: songs, games, improvisation, creation. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition. For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages. I push to go further in the quality of the interpretation with simple means to better understand the music and thus allow more expressiveness and freedom. I also offer improvisation, harmony, lessons in musical ensembles, especially vocal polyphony for children, and lessons for specific needs, for example just intonation for singers or other instruments.

Eventually we always fulfilled together our goal and on many occasions I know that apart from that I was key to make some of them start liking maths. Mathematics is my passion and I always try to transmit it along with all the interesting things which surrounded this beautiful science. Proudly, today I can say that some of my “worst” students at the beginning, those who didn’t want to listen anything about math are currently studying university degrees such as engineering and they enjoy math as I do. Sylvain has been a private tutor to my 4-5 year old daughter for the last couple of months and I am very pleased with his teaching approach. He makes sure that the basics are taught using interactive games which keeps my child engaged and she also has fun learning. He is very patient and also has a great way with children.

I highly recommend Bisho, he's s a very competent teacher. He's nice and friendly, tailoring your skill and needs in learning, and also very structured in his lessons. In every session I get to learn theories, techniques while learning new song, all in 60 minutes. Full packed yet well paced lessons-highly recommended.
