Learn Guitar with a Professional Musician | Classical, Acoustic & ElectricTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Whether you are picking up the guitar for the very first time, preparing for Trinity, ABRSM or Rockschool examinations, developing your improvisation skills, or learning to write and perform your own music, lessons will be tailored to your individual goals, interests, and experience level. I strongly believe that students achieve their best results when learning is enjoyable, motivating, and adapted to their personal learning style. My aim is not only to develop technical ability, but also confidence, creativity, musicality, and a genuine passion for music. I teach: • Classical Guitar • Acoustic Guitar • Electric Guitar • Fingerstyle Techniques • Music Theory • Improvisation and Soloing • Songwriting and Composition • Trinity, ABRSM and Rockschool Preparation • GCSE Music Support As a professional musician, composer, songwriter, recording artist, and educator with more than twenty years of teaching experience, I bring both practical and academic expertise to every lesson. I have independently released multiple albums, composed music for theatre productions, and performed throughout Europe. Lessons are available online or in person and are suitable for motivated students aged 10 and above, from complete beginners to advanced players.

Statistics - GCSE, A-Level, IB, Foundation and university level.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Statistics is one of my main areas of expertise, having studied Economics & Statistics at UCL with extensive quantitative training throughout my degree. I can teach Statistics from GCSE and A-Level through IB, Foundation and university level, adapting the depth and approach to each student’s course and ability. I have been tutoring since high school and enjoy making difficult statistical concepts feel simple and intuitive. I focus on helping students understand why a method works rather than simply memorising formulas. Depending on the student’s syllabus, I can cover topics including probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, regression, correlation, statistical inference, data analysis and more advanced statistical methods. Lessons are usually 60, 90 or 120 minutes and are tailored to the student’s individual needs. We can work through theory, examples, coursework-style problems, past papers and exam questions. I place particular emphasis on exam technique and problem-solving, while identifying and strengthening any gaps in the student’s mathematical or statistical foundations. Whether the goal is to catch up, prepare for an important exam, improve a grade or develop a deeper understanding of Statistics, my aim is to make the subject clear, structured and manageable while building the student’s confidence and independence.

Learn how to play music from a real touring musician!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Learn from a pro who's played Wembley Stadium, toured Europe, and worked with West End stars! I'm Chris - a London-based multi-instrumentalist with years of real-world experience as a performer, musical director, and bandleader. Since 2015, I’ve taught over 100 students - from 6-year-old beginners to seasoned musicians - helping them grow their skills, boost their confidence, and connect more deeply with the music they love. I’ve played bass for 80s legends Talk Talk, bass and keyboards for renowned tribute band Guns 2 Roses on national and European tours, been a musical supervisor and musical director for national theatre productions, and shared stages with cast members from Les Misérables, Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen, Mamma Mia, and more. I've performed everywhere from intimate acoustic venues to the Royal Festival Hall and even Wembley Stadium. My teaching style is practical, flexible, and student-led. I teach both online and in person from my West London studio, working with people of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re looking to jam with friends, write your own music, get ready for a recording session, or just play for your own enjoyment, I’ll help you build the skills you need, and enjoy the process as much as the result. I currently offer lessons in: 🎹 Piano and keyboards 🎸 Acoustic and electric guitar 🎸 Bass guitar 📖 Music theory (from the basics to advanced harmony and analysis) 🎓 Support for GCSE and A-Level music students I believe lessons should feel creative, inspiring, and genuinely useful - not just a box to tick. I bring patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of both music and musicians to every session, helping students unlock their potential on their own terms.
