From 30.93 € /h
I have proven success in helping students get back on track with French GSCE after only a few lessons and am new to this site. I love the French language and want to help my students not only to understand but more importantly to enjoy this subject so they are confident and well prepared for GSCE exams. I connect easily with young people, therefore creating a comfortable and positive learning environment. This makes it easier for them to engage, ask questions, and feel more confident in our online sessions. I appreciate that every student learns differently so my tutoring sessions are customized to suit individual needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. My approach is to simplify - I break down complex grammar, vocabulary, and exam techniques into easy-to-understand segments, making learning French more approachable and enjoyable. My lessons are designed to be engaging, incorporating a variety of activities that help reinforce learning in a fun, interactive way, from conversational practice to exam-style questions.
I’m dedicated to helping students achieve their target grades, with a track record of students improving their confidence and performance in French GCSE exams. (including my own 2 now grown-up children.) For my current students, I am working with the AQA French Higher textbook.

About Me
I'm originally from North East England - I have a Master of Arts French Language degree and enjoyed living and teaching in France for a year as part of that 5 year course. I have a strong business background having worked for an International Wallpaper Company for a number of years in both Marketing and Sales roles( dealing with people all over the world) I have a great interest in languages - and have enjoyed ad hoc tutoring for French GCSE students including my own 2 now grown up kids. I have decided to move back to teaching and will focus all my attention on tutoring young students.
Outside of work I have eclectic interests - I love walking for miles with my dogs, boating, fishing, baking cakes, photography and voluntary work (Re-Engage Charity for the Elderly)
