For young fashion enthusiasts, sewing is a fundamental step.
The theoretical section helps you understand how and why a garment is well-constructed, teaches you how to draft it by incorporating the essential basics, and thus allows you to progress in your styling and creations. We will notably cover fabric placement and pattern alteration.

Practice will help you sew more calmly and straighter, understand the importance of good pattern making and create clothes that are comfortable to wear, with beautiful finishes.

In my classes, I teach the step-by-step making of a simple garment, taking the time to explain each step and the different finishing options.
All you need is a working sewing machine at home; I can help you with threading and getting started if needed.
Extra information
If you wish to make a garment, you will need to bring muslin or cotton fabric for the prototype, large sheets of paper for the pattern, and a working sewing machine. It's best to have basic supplies such as rulers, a pencil, thread, scissors, a tape measure, and pins, but I can bring some if needed during the class.

About Me
I am a graduate student in Fashion and Apparel Product Management, and I also hold a vocational certificate (CAP) in Fashion and Soft Garment Making, which I obtained independently. I am passionate about teaching sewing in a simple and accessible way, making concepts sometimes perceived as complicated or unnecessary, when in fact they are essential, understandable. I enjoy working with creative people, whether they are young, children, or adults, and I strive to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. My goal is for everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and fulfilled in their learning.
