About Me
Hello,
English below!
I am a musician, singer, producer and DJ based in Brussels. I use Ableton Live and Logic Pro to create, record and produce my tracks, which blend electronic, soul and experimental sounds.
My courses are aimed at beginners who want to learn how to compose their first beats, understand DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), or simply bring their musical ideas to life.
We work directly on your style and your world, at your pace, in a concrete and creative way.
Whether you want to learn how to use Ableton Live, record your voice, or structure a complete song, I'll guide you step by step with simple and effective tools.
🎶 Objective: to make you self-reliant in creating your own music, from the first sound to the final production.
SKILLS TEACHED:
1. Mastering your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
Learn how to navigate the interface, create audio/MIDI tracks, record, edit, and organize your project. Understand the basic concepts: tempo, grid, metronome, loops. This is the essential foundation before anything else.
2. Understanding audio signals and routing
Knowing what gain, volume, and panning are. Understanding the signal path (input → effects → output), buses, and sends. This will prevent a lot of technical frustration later on.
3. Compose and arrange using MIDI tools
Use a MIDI keyboard or piano roll to create melodies, chords and rhythms. Know the basics of music theory (scales, simple chords) and learn how to structure a song (intro, verse, chorus).
4. Use virtual instruments and samples
Explore basic synthesizers, sound banks (drums, basses, pads) and learn how to import/edit audio samples. Understand the difference between MIDI and audio, and how to combine them creatively.
5. Mix the bases: balance and clean
Adjust the relative volumes between tracks, use EQ to clean up unwanted frequencies, and add simple compression and reverb. The goal isn't a professional mix, but to make the track pleasant to listen to.
