As a first-year Master's student in Physics at EPFL, I offer private tutoring in mathematics as well as academic support for students in middle school, high school/gymnasium and first-year university. I mainly base myself on the progressive resolution of exercises, to understand where the difficulties come from and to be able to overcome them. I listen and adapt to the student in order to understand their perspective. I can thus approach problems in the way that suits him best, which allows me to create solid foundations and establish an excellent understanding of the subject. A progressive approach to exercises and regular practice builds self-confidence and allows for great improvement over the long term! I have already taught students from: - Swiss Gymnasium -French high school and college - European School - EPFL - Paris Polytechnic School I therefore know the habits of these schools and can easily adapt to the program of the students I accompany. During lessons via ZOOM, I use a tablet that allows me to write directly on the student's screen.

During a mathematics or scientific branch course, the student has specific questions or subjects to address (ranging from compulsory school to the end of the gymnasium in maturity/reinforced math) in order to fill in the gaps in the subject . If he wants to get ahead of the program or needs help with homework/exercises, this is also possible.

Master student at EPFL, I would be happy to help you (you or your child) for the subjects where you have difficulties! At university, I have been an assistant in Chemistry for the first years of EPFL for a few years as well as for a course linking mathematics and electronics, called Signals and Systems. So I am used to teaching and explaining concepts to students with difficulties. I also give private lessons to students passing the Swiss maturity or the French baccalaureate. To try to see together the difficulties as well as the misunderstandings: we go back to the lesson together, we do an exercise together and then I let the student do it independently and we review together if he is blocked or if we need to correct. I would be delighted to be able to help you in all matters, both scientific and literary! :)

As a student who completed my master's degree in physics with a grade of 5.52/6 and obtained my baccalaureate with honors (19.8/20 overall average), I am happy to help with learning mathematics and science in general, which made me want to study at EPFL and come to KTH, Stockholm, and then do my thesis in Tokyo. I offer to give tutoring in mathematics or physics for any level (up to the start of secondary school) occasionally or regularly. I have previously given lessons to children. Having several young nephews and nieces and having regularly carried out baby sittings, I am used to supervising children. I can also help with English classes (after having lived for several months in Cambridge, England), French, philosophy or provide comprehensive school support for homework help for children. Do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested. Hope to meet you, Iolene

Hello, I am an EPFL graduate student who has followed and helped more than 50 students to pass their year for maths, physics and chemistry. Last year I had 4 students who were taking their exams to obtain their federal maturities (private school) and contacted me for regular courses during the year. They all had excellent results in maths and physics. I even have a student who had 6 in her federal math exam..... (she didn't know much before starting lessons with me and now she's a hit!) If you need help, I offer group and individual lessons in Lausanne (1014) or by zoom (depending on your preference). Individual lesson (1 person) Group lessons (2 people) Group lessons (3 people) Questions or you can already book your first lesson

Hello, My name is Ahlam, and I'm a university student with a passion for sharing knowledge. For several years, I've been tutoring students of all ages, up to and including high school and vocational tracks. I also work as a homework helper for the City of Lausanne. This has given me solid teaching experience, both in academic support and in fostering self-confidence. My educational background demonstrates a strong interest in scientific subjects: I pursued a health studies track in high school, then obtained a specialized baccalaureate in health as well as a Swiss federal baccalaureate with excellent grades in mathematics (6) and science (5.5 average). However, my passion for history and English led me to the Faculty of Arts, where I am currently continuing my studies. My goal is to become a teacher in these subjects, which I am particularly fond of. I enjoy working with children, teenagers, and young adults, adapting to their specific needs and offering them a personalized educational approach. I look forward to meeting you and supporting each student with dedication, kindness, and enthusiasm. Yours, Ahlam

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the area of operations research and I propose the following classes: The key to success in mathematics is to learn how to think outside-the-box. This valuable ability helps mathematicians to solve real problems in today’s world. This course helps to develop that crucial ability and, thus, to understand mathematics. The beginner and intermediate classes focus on the overall understanding of school mathematics and, particularly, of the topics in 1) Algebra 2) Geometry 3) Introduction to probability The advanced classes focus on particular fields in mathematics taught at universities (e.g., linear algebra, probability theory, optimisation etc.). I also train for the mathematics section of the GMAT exam.

I offer support courses in mathematics in Lausanne and the surrounding area. Passionate about teaching, I have experience that extends from secondary/gymnasium levels, where I guided students as a private math/physics teacher, to university, where I been a teacher at bachelor's, master's and engineering school levels in a Parisian University. These teaching experiences at very varied levels help me to form a global vision of learning. Concerning my career, I completed a master's degree in engineering sciences at Sorbonne University, which I completed with a master's degree in sciences applied to music then a doctorate in acoustics and audio signal processing. My career as an engineer specializing in acoustics and artificial intelligence allowed me to experience mathematics in concrete applications on a daily basis. I am currently resuming my studies in a Master's program in electric bass pedagogy at the Lausanne University of Music, with the aim of also becoming a professional musician and music teacher. I am always delighted to support students in a stimulating and enriching learning environment.
