What will we learn? My classes are designed for students of all levels: from those who want to seriously delve into their instrument, studying technique, harmony, theory, and reading at a professional level, to those who simply want to improve their knowledge of the instrument they play in their free time. I pay special attention to beginners, regardless of age, ensuring proper finger placement on the instrument, whether it's electric, acoustic, or classical guitar. And... online learning? Yes, it's possible! All you need is a good internet connection and a webcam with a decent microphone (I can help you choose one if you need it). Throughout the classes, I'll share materials and exercises via email, and you can record your practice sessions and send me the videos so I can review them before the class. The pandemic has forced us to find efficient solutions to keep going, and luckily, online music instruction works. And... if you'd like to learn more about the program and how we can adapt it to your needs, just write to me and we can discuss it. I believe that classes should be adapted to the students' interests, level, and time availability, so that they are enjoyable, stress-free, and progressive. Throughout my 25 years of teaching, I have successfully developed what I consider a program of "essential" knowledge for a serious, contemporary musician. My students say about me... Bxxxxxxxx Matteo is a highly qualified teacher who adapts perfectly to the student's style and level. The classes are varied and enjoyable, with a very friendly and trustworthy approach. He always explains things in a way I can understand, chooses pieces to work on that are both enjoyable and focus on where I need to practice, and takes the time to answer all my questions completely. I'd recommend him to other students. Matteo is an excellent teacher; he prepares his classes very well, is patient, and explains both theory and technique very well. He also has a wealth of resources, publications, and sheet music. In addition, he is a composer and knows a lot about music history. I recommend him to anyone who wants to learn or improve their guitar technique; he is very professional. Mxxxxxx A great teacher with training in many styles, his classes are enjoyable but packed with high-quality content. He is able to adapt to any student's needs and is one of the most complete professionals in Valencia. Totally recommended; you'll even improve your playing posture. 10/10. Music is a higher revelation then all wisdom and philosophy & is the electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents // Ludwig van Beethoven. Hello everyone. I am a very passionate and dedicated music educator with over 10 years of experience on the Costa del Sol. We have the option of teaching classes in person at our classroom/studio in Marbella —specially equipped for lessons and with interactive materials and updated educational resources—, as well as traveling to your home along the Costa del Sol, starting from Marbella and going as far as Guadalmina (near Estepona) or Calahonda (near Fuengirola). However you like it or it suits you best ; ) The instruments you can choose to learn are: * CLASSICAL PIANO & MODERN KEYBOARD * GUITAR (ACOUSTIC & ELECTRIC) * LOW * UKULELE * SINGING (INCLUDING MICROPHONE TECHNIQUE) We start from crucial classical foundations and elements of functional harmony, but the style also adapts to the student's musical taste and what they would like to develop musically, whether it be classical pieces from various periods, songs from genres such as Rock, Pop, R&B, Jazz & Blues, Folk, Fusion, as well as music from Movies and Video Games. Here we assess each student's natural strengths and talents to build a personalized repertoire and develop their musical artistry. This, in turn, develops their kinesthetic skills, multiple intelligences, emotional expressiveness and modulation, concentration, self-discipline, and interpersonal skills. The classes are taught in ENGLISH or SPANISH (as the student/client chooses, both at a native/advanced level) with a holistic and comprehensive methodology, developing a balance between the student's innate disposition and their unique preferences in the personalized repertoire we create (whether these are classical instrumental pieces and/or popular contemporary songs, with the added option of singing and playing the instrument in question). We also have essential books and resources on the subject, including classic texts and methods of musical pedagogy from conservatories (Bastien, Alfred, Carcassi, etc.), as well as contemporary methods from modern music schools (Berklee, Hal Leonard, etc.). We also have excellent references from years of teaching experience. Our friends, families, and students have been very happy with our work, and some have even passed exams for conservatories and music schools abroad :)
