You can begin with Level 1 and continue further or choose to start on a specific level. Level 1 - This course is an absolute beginner level. You can hold a pencil and a brush but the starting is so stressful and confusing. You're scared of making a mistake, you don't know where to begin, you're getting lost when it comes to composition or shading whenever you start to draw. I GOT YOU! Those are very common feelings when you start to draw and it can be discouraging, give you a feeling of being stuck or just very dissatisfied with your art. In this course I will guide you through basic traditional art techniques such as pencil sketching, pen and ink drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting. We will be studying composition, forms, shapes, structure and texture of different objects such as fabric, furniture, animal fur, plants etc. I’ll show you how to achieve depth in your shading, how to understand light, and the effect of fragility of plants or hardship and reflection of metal. I’ll teach you observation, things to look for in the drawing, but most of all I'll give you tools for future independent learning that will save you tons of time while figuring on your own! The key to success is your motivation and time you will dedicate to your homework practice. Level 2 - This course is directed towards people who have some basic understanding of traditional art media techniques such as pencil sketching, pen and ink drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting. Your art is currently your hobby, but you would like to change it into a career? Know more about art as a business model, get insights into career tips and opportunities. Or do you want to improve your sketching skills, learn to digitise your work, create digital illustrations in Procreate, or combine it all in your own unique way? Level 3 - Advanced. I believe I am a good teacher of math but am also exceptional at CV checks or helping with motivational essays and essay writing in general so would be happy to help in that area aswell. For my bachelors I pursued an aerospace engineering degree and am currently pursuing a masters in Cognitive Robotics. I am passionate about both learning and teaching because I have always believed education is the strongest tool. I am not somebody who understands things immediately so when I myself was learning in younger classes and in school, I always had a lot of questions and patiently worked through them. I think this kind of mentality is important when tutoring or mentoring somebody as opposed to criticizing mistakes. In my opinion, the more questions you ask, the better you understand! My teaching method usually includes introducing new theories and topics during our live sessions together and then assigning a few exercises or some homework for you to work on after the class on your own. In the next class, we will then go through your homework and clarify any questions you have. Again the aim is not that I am expecting a 100% on the homework (this could also be what your school gives you every week), but it's so we can work together on what you get stuck on!
