Since 2001 the focus of my vocal work and my teaching has been the research and development of a body memory of the vocal tract and the various resonance bodies.

About Me

Teaching is kind of self-fulfilment for me. Since I started teaching singing in 2001, I have experienced that there is no greater joy than sharing your own experience: my bigger success as singing teacher lies in every improved note, every fine-tuned single sound, in every smile of a student after a little progress.
My background as a singer has driven me towards contemporary music and mostly vocal experimentation. As a result, I have questioned the concept of singing regarding the many techniques and the management of the vocal tract for a long time, testing different approaches on myself. Thus nowadays I can discern the qualities as well as the problems of each voice and help it to grow in a healthy way.

I give violin lessons at home, for students of all levels and ages.

I am an experienced and enthusiastic guitar tutor from Leeds, England, living in Berlin. I have a bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar from Leeds College of Music although I also play and teach rock, pop, funk, folk, and indie music.
