I’m Amina, a certified English teacher with experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults, both online and in person.

I hold a BA in English Linguistics, TEFL and TESOL certifications, and additional training in instructional design from the University of Illinois, which enables me to structure lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I have also taught in a school setting, working with children and teens aged 6 to 16, as well as privately online.

My lessons are friendly, calm, and encouraging, while still being results-oriented. I believe students learn best when they feel safe, understood, and gently challenged. I have experience teaching both in schools and privately, working with children, teenagers, and adults. My students range from beginners to intermediate learners, and I also support those preparing for school exams or who want to improve their conversational skills and confidence.

Languages are an important part of my life. My native one is Spanish, born and raised in a Latin American country and I've been living in Spain for the past three years. I lived in France for a year, I was there for an international exchange program, living with a French family and going to school.
