I’m a Master’s student in Astrophysics at the University of Geneva, originally from Greece. I graduated as valedictorian in my Bachelor’s degree in Physics and have participated and excelled in competitions in math, physics, and robotics. I’m still learning every day, so I understand what it feels like to face challenges and how to achieve great results through persistence and curiosity. That’s why I teach with patience and use plenty of examples to make each concept clear and relatable.

We’ll focus on making sense of each topic, not just getting through the material. I encourage students to think like scientists, to ask questions, look for patterns, and understand how things work. I adjust the material to each student’s level to make learning engaging and motivating. We’ll use real-life examples, simple explanations, and practical exercises to make concepts clear. The lessons are designed to fill in gaps, prepare for exams, and build confidence step by step.

As an experienced teacher in the orientation cycle, I am enthusiastic about helping students organize their work by developing different learning methods.

The objective of this course is to provide a pleasant environment for students who are having difficulty at school, in order to strengthen their self-confidence and encourage them to come regularly and see their progress.

The student in difficulty needs to be accompanied in the management of his homework and his learning before being able to gain autonomy. By acquiring an organized working method and using different learning techniques, he will be able to find more fulfillment in his work.

I have experience in teaching and support classes, I appreciate the contact with the students, especially their smiles when they regain their self-confidence and feel capable of progressing.

I have tutored three students in the past before for the SAT, improving each of their scores by 50, 100, and 110 respectively in the space of 8-10 hours of tuitions. I achieve a 1580/1600 in my own SAT, and 800/800 for both SAT Math II and Physics subject tests. My teaching techniques will be based on how I studied for the exam myself, but can be tailored to each student's own specific needs and difficulties.

I am now studying mathematics and economics and the London School of Economics, so my maths level is quite high. I got a 7/7 in higher level math last year in my IB exams so I am quite familiar with how to teach that and have familiarised myself with the new curriculum. I can also teach economics.

Holder of a Bac S (Highest Honors, with 20/20 in maths and 18/20 in all scientific subjects), I embarked on higher education (CPGE section PTSI then PT) and then I passed a competitive examination which allowed me to enter the Arts et Métiers. My specificities are: Mathematics, Physics and Engineering Science but I am also bilingual in Spanish. To complete my studies, I did a double degree ENSAM x ESTP Paris in building engineering. In the COVID period, I offer video lesson formats generally via SKYPE which allows through screen sharing to communicate very easily with my students and thus ensure optimal efficiency. Homework or annals will be worked on and requested as needed in order to install my students in a situation of comfort and personalized follow-up to progress as they wish.
