We will start with your view and understanding of the USA. We will discuss current events and dig down into their roots. I will recommend things for you to read, watch, or study between sessions. Then we will continue the discussion.

History and politics have always been a passion of mine and I am very much willing to teach anyone who desires any tutoring. At times it can be very difficult and overwhelming if you need to make an exam or write an essay - I can be there to help in case you need guidance! The goal here would be to make you understand history better, organize patterns in your head and possibly make you love the subject! This should definitely help in either expanding your worldview, or enhancing your history grades. I am willing to teach history (or politics/maatschappijleer) in Dutch or English.

I have little preference in regard to eras or themes in history, but if you must know I especially enjoy political and military macro-history. The grand patterns throughout history fascinate me, with of course, attention to large events. No era or area is particularly strange to me, again, being able to process history is the goal here!

The grand goal is to get a basic, intermediate or advanced understanding in one of the subjects. I could, possibly, rehearse with you and ask you how fluent you are in the topics at hand. I am fully willing to adapt to the student his or her academic needs. In case you wish me to help you in structuring or writing a history essay, then this, too is no problem!

I'm an Italian native speaker from Venice, Italy.
My country is quite diverse, known by many and yet often its funding elements and its culture are misrepresented and oversimplified. Language is key to get to know another culture, its history and political institutions.
With this course you will learn the basics of the Italian idiom and at the same time you will be given tools and suggestions on how to familiarize and start understanding contemporary Italian culture and its political landscape.

I completed the IB DP with a consistent 7/ high 6 in Higher Level History, and this has always been one of my favorite subjects. I am very good at this subject and have somewhat of a passion for it. I have a very good grasp of what is expected from the IB students as pertains to this subject, and I know the ins and outs of the criteria and the weird and wonderful little ways in which the IB expects the students to perform. I am able to help with any course work, homework, assignments, or assessments. As pertains to the DP students, I also did my EE on a History topic so I can assist there if need be. I am also a tutor in English and as comprehensive writing and legibility is a large part of what is expected from IB History students, I can offer particular insight into how to best write and get arguments across.

Les matières d'histoire mondiale et d'études sociales sont souvent laissées de côté car elles sont considérées comme moins utiles que les autres matières, mais je pense que les enfants peuvent apprendre beaucoup en observant et en apprenant ce qui s'est passé dans le passé et ce qui se passe aujourd'hui. Je veux partager avec eux mes connaissances sur ces sujets tout en les aidant à gérer les connaissances qu'ils ont déjà et qu'ils doivent apprendre. Dans les écoles, l'histoire est souvent enseignée à travers des dates et des événements d'apprentissage, mais l'histoire devrait être enseignée sous la forme d'une histoire, qui est plus facile à retenir, et les informations utiles resteront plus longtemps.
Je suis également disposé à aider mes élèves à faire leurs devoirs et à leur enseigner certaines compétences sur la façon d'organiser et de gérer le travail qu'ils reçoivent.

J'ai une expérience d'enseignement dans des écoles internationales au Qatar, en Italie et aux États-Unis avec des élèves de collège et de lycée, ayant enseigné le programme américain et le programme des baccalauréats internationaux.
