(English follows) Hi! I'm a full-time data scientist with a master's degree in statistics, and my mission is simple: to finally make math and statistics understandable for you. I know math can seem abstract and useless. But in my day-to-day work, I use these concepts to solve real problems—and I can show you how those formulas you learn make sense in real life. Why choose me? ✅ I make it concrete: I explain to you what math is really used for with real-world examples (sports, video games, social networks, etc.). ✅ Patience guaranteed: I taught at the University of Montreal and tutored for 5 years—I know how to adapt to your pace. ✅ No judgment: You can ask any question, even if you think it's "stupid" (it never is!). ✅ Proven results: My students improve their grades AND their self-confidence! What I can help you master: SECONDARY (all levels): Algebra and equations Functions (polynomial, exponential, logarithmic) Geometry and trigonometry Probability and statistics Preparation for ministerial exams (CST, TS, SN) Catch-up and upgrading CEGEP: Differential calculus (MAT 103, NYA) Integral calculus (MAT 203, NYB) Linear Algebra and Vector Geometry (MAT 105, NYC) Statistics (201-301, 201-DUA) Quantitative methods And any other mathematics courses in natural sciences, humanities, and technology. How I work with you: 📝 Before the session: You send me what you don't understand (homework, lecture notes, past exams). 🎯 During the session: We identify exactly WHERE the blockage occurs. I explain using simple words and visual examples. You practice while I guide you. We'll check that you can do it again on your own. ✅ After the session: I can share with you a summary of the concepts covered and practice exercises with solutions. I offer support via message for small questions between classes. My approach: no shortcuts, real foundations I'm not just giving you the answers or "tricks" to pass the exam. I'm making sure you truly understand the concepts, because that's how you'll become independent and improve your grades sustainably. Flexibility and accessibility: Online or in-person sessions on the north shore of Montreal. Flexible schedule: weekday evenings and weekends. Mouad - Montreal, 1036€
Trusted teacher: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👨‍🎓 With 4 years of experience in distance education, I am a mathematics teacher specializing in support lessons and private lessons. I also teach physics and chemistry as well as scientific subjects in general. I hold a Master's degree in Operational Research (Applied Mathematics) and I have been teaching private lessons for more than three years, mainly mathematics for middle and high school levels. ✏ I have taught students from different schools, whether public, private, following the French program (mission), Belgian, Swiss, Spanish (students from French-speaking or English-speaking Spanish schools) or American. In summary, all French or English programs. ✏ I support students from A to Z in all stages of their learning, using a simple, new generation and effective methodology: explanation of lessons, summary of lessons, application and deepening exercises, etc. ✏ I also prepare students for exams and competitions. ✏ I also support students with their homework (homework help). ✏ All my students have made extraordinary progress and achieved their goals, with grades of 16, 17, 18 or 19 out of 20. Sessions usually take place as follows: 1️⃣ The first sessions are mainly intended to assess the level of the student in order to determine the shortcomings noted. 2️⃣ Then we make a plan to fill those gaps: number of hours of work required, parts of the lessons to focus on, lots of training and development exercises, etc. 3️⃣ We make sure to stay up to date with the student's class teacher to track their progress and align our work with what is being taught in class. 4️⃣ Then I provide exams similar to what may be offered in class. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a monthly report to keep parents informed of their child's level throughout the course. I also adapt my methodology according to the needs of each student, which means that everyone has a personalized working method adapted to their needs! I also offer crash courses for those preparing for the start of the school year, so that they start the year well prepared 💪 and with a head start on the program.🧠 💭 If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me ;)

Oliver - Evanston, IL53€
Trusted teacher: I am a current industrial engineering student at Northwestern University (ranked 9th in the US by US News and in the top 30 universities worldwide by most rankings). I scored 1590/1600 on the SAT (a score above 1550 is typically in the top 1% of test-takers), a 1500/1520 on the PSAT (a preliminary version of the SAT for which I achieved National Merit Finalist, an achievement only 15,000 students from each grade in the US achieve), and 36s on official ACT tests (a perfect score). I have worked as a standardized test tutor for the past 4 years, freelance, at small companies in the US, and at larger companies like Kaplan and PrepExpert. I have helped dozens of students achieve excellent results, including an improvement from 1200/1600 to 1490/1600 on the SAT over the course of 15 hours of tutoring and from 32/36 to 36/36 on the ACT after 20 hours of tutoring. I have worked as a college admissions consultant for the past 2 years and have helped students with applications that have gotten them admitted into the top 20 universities in the US, including Northwestern University, UCLA and Cornell University. I believe that there are no “bad test takers” and that anyone can succeed with sufficient understanding of their exam. I work to not only teach the content on standardized tests but to make sure students understand how the test works and find strategies for the student. For any given question, I both explain why the right answer is correct and offer several approaches that make it easier and faster to find. I try to give my students a “toolbox” of strategies for them to employ so that they never feel lost on a given question.

Mouad

rating green star
Mouad is a fantastic teacher. He has a very professional approach to what he is doing. He knows how to work with younger students. He can quickly position student's knowledge and has the flexibility to follow the required curriculum. He also knows how to build the confidence of the student himself what is extremely important in case of students who had bad experience with the subject in the past. Mouad communicates fluently in French and English. He is always on time and well prepared for classes. He also gives feedback after the lessons. We will definately continue classes with him. My son is making good progress in Mathematics while working with Mouad.

Zoey

rating green star
Zoey is both knowledgeable and skilled in observing what I was doing - and then had right words and actions to show me what I could change - and PRACTICE changing - to improve my sound and overall skills. She focused on fundamental positions of my right hand and the bow position for the first lesson. When we moved into playing a piece that I was working on, she had suggestions that incorporated those fundamentals with the specifics of the piece. I look forward to practicing this week.
