I have a degree in Physics with 6 years of experience in IES. My methodology is quite good given that last year, nobody failed and those who took the Selectividad, got the necessary grade for their studies. In the case of students who wish to access FP, I have made a summary of all the entrance exams. It was one of the subjects I taught at an IES. The time available for each student may vary slightly depending on where the student lives, because I don't mind traveling, but I have my work commitments. Maths is a subject which is often hated by many people as it is viewed as 'difficult' to understand. However, understanding Maths is not as hard as it may seem and can be an amazing achievement for many. Even now when I finally understand a mathematical concept I feel a huge sense of achievement! I see many students doing maths like learning by heart the solution for a type of problem and when the problem is modified a bit they have no idea how to deal with it anymore. Solving maths problems is not about getting the formulas as in a cookbook, it's about understanding the problems, brainstorming to find a way to work out the problems. I don't tell my student what to do to solve a problem and move on to the next, instead, I try to teach them the way to analyze, understand, and brainstorm themself...
