My name is Yulia, I am a professional certified English and Russian language teacher. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, I have been living abroad since 1994. I studied and taught in the USA, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Australia, France, and Thailand.
I love travelling and learning new languages, I have visited 20 countries, lived in six and I speak five languages. Meeting new people, exploring new cultures and learning languages is what my life is really all about.
My teaching career began twenty years ago, while I was studying for my University degree in South Korea. I have taught English and Russian to kids and adults from elementary to advanced levels. My main goal is to help students expand their vocabulary and develop their speaking and communication skills.
I practice a student-centered approach that enables students become competent and gain real fluency. Task-based activities give learners the chance to explore language and culture, develop critical thinking and solve problems creatively.
I truly enjoy teaching, am capable of creating a great bond with my students and can guarantee a high-performance rate and the maximum level of academic achievement.
