Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics are usually not the favorite subjects of students. But, believe me - these subjects are so interesting and can be so joyful. If you join my class I will teach you science and how to learn science, so that you can study it by yourself very soon. You will see that Chemistry and Physics are always all around and inside us and that Mathematics is the beautiful and helpful tool we use to just describe and predict them properly.

Depending on your level and the goal that you want to achieve, I will prepare individual customized lessons, will give you guidance on how to learn and to view things - and especially how to think scientifically.

I studied Chemistry at the Technical University of Berlin and graduated there. During and after completing my PhD in Physical Chemistry I worked in Neutron Science and published numerous papers in Physical Sciences. Then I decided to leave science and started working as a freelance teacher in the subjects given above with high enthusiasm in 2011.

Besides that I have prepared many Chemistry and Physics Tutorials on School as well as University level and also published two books with Multiple Choice questions for premed courses.

I was born in Dresden/Germany. I moved to West-Berlin when I was 12 years old and completed School there. I already developed a high interest in sciences in school and actually I wanted to study Physics but finally decided to study Chemistry - which was fun as well. After graduation at the Technical University of Berlin, I started my PhD work in Physical Chemistry. During that time I moved to Oxford/UK where I joint a Research Project in Neutron Science for 4 years which was a very fruitful and exciting period. Then I decided to go back to my to my town Berlin and continued some scientific research but then soon decided to leave science and to do the work that I was actually born for - teaching. Teaching is my passion. I teach Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at public and private institutions on academic level as well as on the level between school and university. I taught these subjects in premedical courses for around 8 years in German and in English.

Je suis actuellement en ERASMUS à la Technische Universität Berlin et propose des cours d'accompagnement/approndissement en mathématiques, physique-chimie, sciences de l'ingénieur pour des collégiens et lycéens.

Après le lycée en fillière scientifique (Bac S spécialité sciences de l'ingénieur avec mention très bien), j'ai intégré un bachelor de Génie Mécanique à l'école polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne en Suisse (EPFL) que je suis entrain de terminer. Je donne des cours depuis deux ans à des lycéens et étudiants en première année de l'EPFL et apprécie particulièrement partager mon expérience, mes méthodes et astuces avec des étudiants qui découvrent des notions sur lesquelles j'ai déjà travaillé.

Je préfère donner des cours en "présentiel" car je considère que le contact est important pour transmettre un maximum d'informations, et pour entretenir la motivation de l'étudiant !
Mais je restes bien sûr disponible sur zoom et travailles avec un tablette, si le "présentiel est impossible".

5️⃣ Upon request, I write a monthly report to keep parents informed of their child's level throughout the course.

For 20 years, I have been giving physical science lessons in class and private lessons for students who need support or for students who want to improve their records.
