About Me

My name is Lauren and I am twenty years old. Originally from France, I live in Paris, but I am currently in Alicante for a semester abroad. Having already gained experience in the field of private lessons, I would also like to take this opportunity to provide lessons here, for students experiencing difficulties in English and French. I provide French lessons, since it is my mother tongue, as well as English, in which I have reached a C1 level. Since I was very young, I have had a keen interest and curiosity in this language. I have been practicing it for many years and it has always sparked my passion. I am convinced that teaching students can be extremely formative and instructive for their understanding of the language. At university, I am rigorous, disciplined and organized, and I try to adopt the same approach during my lessons in order to encourage students to develop their desire to learn these languages and to show curiosity, because it is of great importance. Furthermore, as mentioned previously, I gave lessons to students in my country of origin, in France, covering French and English grammar, conjugation and writing style. I make sure to put the students at ease by first assessing their level, and I regularly offer them exercises to carry out for the next session, so as to observe their long-term progress. In addition, I encourage them to practice speaking regularly during each class because in my opinion, it is a fairly crucial tool to know how to master.
