Hi, I am professional active jazz double bass/ bass player from Croatia trained at the GMPU University in Austria and currently at Hague Royal Conservatory. As an experienced tutor for over 4 year I offer double bass and music theory lessons in the Hague & online for beginner / intermediate / advanced level, adapted to all ages and children. All lessons are designed and adapted to the individual needs of the student.

In our lessons we are going to focus on some of the following aspects;
- intonation and sound quality
- rhythm and steady time-keeping
- musicality and improvisation
-creating your own bass lines
-pizzicato and bowing techniques
-role of the bassist in a band
-discovering common chord progressions
-learning how to play along with your favorite records in jazz/blues/pop/soul/funk genres

I offer double bass, bass guitar, piano and music theory lessons adapted to preschoolers, gradeschoolers and teenagers. I am happy to help your kid expand the creativity and musical skills in a fun and interactive way!

I graduated 2 years ago at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and I offer both violin and viola lessons to all ages and levels in The Hague and surroundings.
I am originally Spanish but I can teach in English and French as well.
I can teach at home or at any other different location.

I am a professional classical musician with years of teaching experience in the UK. Teaching is a passion for me and I always strive to find the best possible teaching approach suitable for the student. I always care about the big themes of learning and teaching and I apply a selection trusted method to my lessons.

Lessons are addressed to every student profile, regardless of age, level of expectations (no matter if it is seen as a hobby or rather if the individual is getting prepared for official Conservatory auditions, etc.).

We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation.

I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022.
Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

I share you my skills in playing the double bass with different techniques for jazz, classical, early music as well as arranging, composition, harmony and rhythm.
I have masters in early music and classical double bass from Royal Conservatory of The Hague and active as jazz musician.

Teacher at Strijkdomain (The Hague), Conservatory in The Hague, Vuurvlinderschool, Geldelandschool en a Het Klooster (Woerden).

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making.

I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces.

Music has always been my biggest passion and I really enjoy sharing it with other people. My main music genres are pop, rnb, ballades, a bit of jazz, and soul.
I can read musical notes, but I mainly play by ear (which can be learned too!). I am into music theory and how it helps to understand what one hears and plays.
When it comes to singing, I know some basic techniques and can help with pitch, harmonizing, control, and feeling comfortable/confident when singing.

During my Bachelor's training in Classical Horn I have trained in different educational skills techniques as well as in teaching ensembles and basic conducting.
In addition to horn classes, I can also teach music theory and basic piano skills.
