The aim of these classes is to encourage the motivation of the student, showing him/her that creativity and curiosity can go beyond what we think we are able to do. Anything is possible when talking about art! Learning a language is also a matter of motivation and it depends more on the attitude of the teacher than the student's. For that reason, my role is to captivate what the interest of those who I am teaching and help them towards learning a beautiful language while having fun and developing their creativity.

In this course, not only you will be able to gain knowledge and fluency in the Spanish language, but you will also be able to expand your creativity and artistic skills by enjoying sessions where these two get mixed. At the same time, the first 15 min of each class will be destined to a little Spanish-related session, where activities such as reading comprehensions, talks, role plays or grammar exercises will be performed. This way, listening, speaking and writing skills will be developed and improved! The topics will depend on the interests and likes of the student and school support can also be assured by helping with homework as well as providing useful material in case self-study is needed.

The rest of the class will be based on different activities, once again, depending on the likings and ambitions of the student. Throughout the course, you will be able to try different features like painting, drawing, creative writing, theater, singing, acting, photographing, video editing or music playing. Each week will be based on a project that we will be working on together. The only rule is that the final result will have to be in Spanish!

These classes are very flexible and can vary from a very basic level to a quite advanced one, regarding the language. The artistic skills however, due to limitation of the materials available, can only range between beginner and intermediate. For the most little ones, babysitting is available.

In Peru heb ik sinds 2001 ervaring als Spaanse lerares, en heb vanaf 2003 een eigen talenschool in Cusco Peru. I have a lot of working experience during many years giving courses of the Spanish language at schools, institutions, online and private with students of all ages. After all that years with success and good reviews, I decided last year to start the study for examiner of the Spanish language, and since a few months I also have now my official license to be examiner.
Good communication is important for a teacher and I mostly only speak Spanish to my students, even in the beginning. Only when I notice that a student really doesn’t understand where I am talking about, I switch to the local language for a moment.

I give tutoring and homework support for the Spanish subject. I can help you with your homework or with things you run into. This applies to all areas of the subject, including, for example, grammar, vocabulary or everyday conversation elements.

In the tutoring I first determine the level of the student and based on that I see in which areas the student needs help. I provide that help by offering written assignments and oral interactions. Sometimes I do a quiz to determine the student's progress.

I keep the classes flexible. For example, these can always be canceled and they do not have to be scheduled with much time in advance. I want to keep my relationship with the student and parents personal, as I am only a student myself.

I can teach at the student's home or online via webcam. I still have my own study plan, so we will arrange the hours privately. My name is Barbara, a student at Maastricht University and a Spanish teacher. Our classes will be very diverse. Being Polish and studying international law at Maastricht University, I only teach in Spanish and possibly in English (I don't speak Dutch). I will be using many different teaching methods; from reading english stories, watching english movies to playing short scenes with me. I have some experience in guiding young children in Poland.
