About Danae Holder of a Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, in composition and singing. I enriched my teaching skills by working as a research assistant at the Haute école de musique de Genève (HEM). As a music educator and researcher, I have led masterclasses at university level (Haute école de musique de Genève, Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen) and lecture-recitals (Biennale Baroque Genève, Goldsmiths-University of London, Université de Genève-Musicologie), while continuing my own artistic production. As a composer, I have collaborated with ensembles such as Ensemble Contrechamps and Nieuw Ensemble, as well as with highly recognized institutions such as the Greek National Opera, Neuköllner Oper Berlin and the Athens Music Palace. As a singer, I have worked with the Greek National Opera, Operadagen Rotterdam, the Onassis House of Arts and Letters, and have performed contemporary works in world premieres and European tours. These experiences make me an expert in the field of contemporary singing. Let's plan your musical journey together and develop your skills!

We will start from the texts and themes of the program in question (high school program or courses taken at the university). From there, it will be a question of developing a deep and conceptually rigorous reading capacity of the text. This work will be done together between the student and the professor, trying to identify the key points through dialogue - issues, thesis, argumentative path, etc. - the author in question. Following this, it is essential to move on to personal work where the student will be confronted with the writing and production of a philosophical thought. This precise exercise will obviously depend on the time that the student will want to invest in the course as well as his strengths and what he needs to improve. It will therefore be a question of writing short introductions of text or essay commentary, short dialogues, detailed plans, short essays, etc. I am in fact convinced that philosophy, like any other skill, is also and above all learned through concrete practice and confrontation with specific exercises. I hope that through this methodology we will reach the precise objectives that the student sets out for himself, by means of a living philosophy and active teaching. The method is obviously open to change, which means that the main driving force of the whole course will be the dialogue and continuous exchange between the student and the teacher. Only in this way, I hope, we really learn to philosophize and we can therefore understand what philosophy is about.

My methodology Thanks to my many teachers, I have developed a pedagogy based on control and ease, instrument and breath, which is very good for people with asthma or breathing problems. And thanks to my atypical and eclectic course I try to adapt myself better to the expectations of my students. The goal is to achieve a smooth and flexible precision, setting goals for all levels and for all styles: classical, jazz, variety, funk, carnival, free ... For beginners, I give introductory lessons to music through piano, guitar, small percussion and singing. I teach for over 10 years and I practice trombone in various orchestras and groups (symphonic, jazz, electro, reggae, ska, rock, funk, pop, French song, carnival, zouk, compass, biguine) My musical background After having started the classical trombone at the age of 8 at the conservatory of the center of Paris and at the conservatory Hector Berlioz (Xeme) with Jean Rafard as teacher, Philippe Defurne I studied jazz and improvisation at the Xeme conservatory with Pascal Gaubert and Daniel Casimir as well as with Glenn Ferris at the Master Class at the CRR in Paris. Obtaining the first prize of the CRR of Paris in the class of Jacques Mauger and the CFEM of Musical Training in the classes of JP Despax and M Labrousse. I also studied ancient music (saqueboute) with JJ Herbin and musical writing in the class of JM Bardez. All styles of music attract me, so I am trombonist and arranger for very eclectic bands ranging from rock, gypsy jazz through funk, carnival music or French song. (EXILE ONE, IGIT, Antoine Herve, Blitz the Ambassador, FFF, Gwada Circus, JP Marthely (Kassav), Richard Birman, Chiktaye, Kreyol Star, Gimbo all stars, Laurie Darmon, Panoramic Project, In the Canopy, Mrs Good, Lylas Concept, Mysticism, Sonke, Lyrocati, Jassandbazz, Arnold, the Mandingue Zebras, Ras Smaila ...)
