I don’t usually write such long reviews, but I really hope more students get the chance to get to know Lucía!! From the very first lesson, I knew Lucía was not just another language teacher!!! she is truly exceptional!!! I have known her for several years, and I can confidently say she is not only an outstanding educator, but also a genuinely wonderful person. If you ever have the opportunity to learn with Lucía, don’t hesitate!! You will not regret it!! I have had many Spanish teachers, but she is truly one of a kind. Her passion, professionalism, and constant pursuit of growth make her stand out in a way that is rare to find. She is incredibly kind, patient, and supportive, creating a learning environment where I always feel comfortable and motivated to improve. Thanks to her guidance, I have made tremendous progress in my Spanish. I was able to pass my school exams and achieve the B2 leven in almost record time, gain admission to a university in Spain, and I am now preparing for the C1 exam, something that would not have been possible without her support. I have also started learning Korean with her, a language that used to intimidate me. Now I genuinely enjoy speaking with her and learning new things. She has an impressive knowledge of the culture, which makes the classes even more interesting. Her classes are always dynamic, engaging, and thoughtfully structured. She has a fascinating background and a unique ability to explain even complex topics in a clear and simple way. What truly sets her apart is her dedication: she provides extra materials, tailors every lesson to my needs, and gives detailed, personalized feedback even outside of class hours. She creates customized materials to target my specific weaknesses, which has made a huge difference in my progress. Andrea has become a bit of a safety valve for me—often I have no idea how to teach or guide my daughter when she’s playing cello. The experience has been so helpful and makes the process run much more smoothly. Even with a language barrier (my daughter speaks neither English nor Spanish), Andrea finds ways to connect, and it’s clear how much my daughter looks up to her. When I signed my daughter up for an orchestra camp at the last minute—with only a couple of days to learn the pieces—Andrea was a lifesaver for both of us, and thanks to her, my daughter is able to go and make great memories. We’ve already had a couple of lessons with Andrea and hope to keep working with her. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

With a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language, Yimer is obviously very qualified but he also has a gift of teaching that is very effective in making progress on the learning journey. Part of this has to be in his patience and being a teacher that has a way of explaining things, both in English and Spanish, that make learning easier. I have had quite a few Spanish tutors over the years but Yimer, is clearly the best.
