I also can teach students for admissions exams in the US (such as SAT, GRE, MCAT) and in the UK (UCAT), especially focusing on the verbal reasoning abilities and writing. I am originally from the US, English being my native language, and although a biology student myself, have taken many reading and writing classes throughout my life, scoring well on admissions exams, and am willing to share my knowledge with you. Hello! I'm Alex, a 28 year-old PhD student in neuroscience/veterinary medicine currently in the US, though I did my master's in the Netherlands and spent around 5 years abroad. I have been teaching since high school, first piano for young children, then a teaching assistant in university and my PhD as well as a running coach for young girls, and recently have been tutoring students of all ages (mainly biology, neuroscience/psychology, thesis writing) via Apprentus and Varsity Tutors. I plan on being a veterinary clinician scientist eventually, where I will teach alongside my clinical work and research.
