About Me

I am Jasna. I have been living in Belgium for 10 years and in Brussels for 8. I love sports from pole dance, aerial hoop, to boxing, acro yoga and pilates. Also I love traveling, languages, dancing and listening to music. I am a nice person to be around and I will make my class more fun and enjoyable.

Whether it is improving your conversation skills, preparing for a trip to Croatia or just wanting to learn a new language, I will support you in your language learning experience and do my best to help you learn fast by carefully planning the lessons. I will provide you with effective feedback on your progress and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. Homework is negotiable depending on the amount of free time you have at your disposal.

In 2013, I completed my bachelor studies in Chinese language, culture and literature at the University of Belgrade. Since then, I have thought Chinese, English and Serbian to many different nationalities in Belgium, Ghana and Serbia.

As a successful teacher, I have two main goals:
- to teach a language (Serbian or Chinese) in a very creative way, meaning that it is my responsibility that my student, each session takes away, remembers 85% of the content.
- to teach culture in parallel so that student falls in love with the country and explores cultural differences between their own country and Serbian or / and Chinese culture.

I offer individual Serbian lessons for everyone interested in learning the language. The lessons are adapted to the level of the student and the focus of the lessons is based on student ́s wishes, preferences or needs.
The material for the lessons is prepared by myself with the help of books and in cooperation with the student.

I am native Serbian speaker and linguist by education, thus I have necessary knowledge, methodology and experience for language teaching.
I have Masters degree in French and Romance languages and literatures from the University of Ljubljana and Université libre de Bruxelles. During and after my studies, I was offering individual and also group language lessons, among others also Serbian language lessons in the European Parliament.

I specialize in tutoring for primary and secondary school. I am willing to adapt my way of teaching based on my student wishes and based on the school program that he is following in school.
I am willing to provide homeworks and exercises as continous exercise and work is crucial to understand the matter.
