Trusted teacher: ❓Do you already play the cello and feel like you’re still missing some of the basics? ❓Have you never played an instrument before and would now like to learn the cello? 🙋🏻‍♂️ My name is Gustav, and I’m happy to offer cello lessons in Vienna (in person) or online—for all ages and all skill levels! 🎻 To be able to make music on the cello, you first need a solid technical foundation—just like the framework of a house, which must be in place before construction can even begin. 💎 With a systematic and logically structured method, anyone can learn to play the cello with joy and ease! 🎓 In addition to my training as an instrumental pedagogue, I am also a trained concert cellist. I work as principal cellist with the Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein and regularly perform on stage with my piano trio (Trio Souvenirs). I look forward to meeting you! —————————————— Guidelines: By booking one of my lessons, the person making the booking agrees to the terms and conditions stated below. • Apprentus guidelines: https://www.apprentus.com/en-at/student-payment-terms My model is the “Flexible” model, which means you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. Please note: Cancellations within 24 hours before the lesson are subject to Apprentus policies, requiring payment of 50% of the lesson fee. • Unexcused cancellations or cancellations made after the fact are not eligible for a make-up lesson or refund; the lesson will be considered as “given.” • Lateness: Students are expected to contact the teacher by phone if they are running late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after the scheduled start time, the lesson will take place within the remaining time. Additional time to compensate for student lateness is not guaranteed. If the teacher arrives late, additional time will be offered after the scheduled lesson time to make up for the delay. • Scheduling for weekly lessons on a fixed weekday: If the teacher is unable to be in Vienna during a given week, the student will be informed in advance so that a make-up lesson can be arranged. • In case of last-minute cancellations by the teacher due to illness or a family emergency, a make-up lesson will be offered. If preferred, the make-up lesson can also be held online. If a student cancels a rescheduled make-up lesson, that lesson will be forfeited. • Copyright: If a student wishes to record the lesson (live via audio/video or online via screen recording), they must obtain the teacher’s consent in advance.

Trusted teacher: My personal goal is to share the experience of "health, happiness, and harmony in life through yoga" (Swami Niranjanananda's guideline) with others. I firmly believe that yoga is a powerful tool to promote physical and mental well-being, find inner peace, and lead a balanced life. This philosophy flows into my teaching and inspires my students to begin their own journey towards greater well-being and harmony. After practicing yoga intensively since 2008, both in Satyananda ashrams in Greece and India, as well as daily as a personal sadhana, and initiated in Karma Sannyasa by Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati, my heart has been even more dedicated to the Satyananda system of yoga. My yogic name (Sannyasin) reflects my deep connection to this tradition. My commitment to yoga is also evident in my continuous education. Since 2008, I have been participating in numerous yoga and meditation workshops and seminars in Europe and India. In 2024, I successfully completed my Yoga Alliance training in Vienna, further refining my skills as a yoga teacher. For the past year, I have been teaching yoga privately to adults, gaining valuable experience in imparting yoga practices. My passion for yoga, coupled with my musical background, allows me to create unique and inspiring yoga classes. My academic career includes a Master's degree in Musicology with a specialization in Music Education, as well as various Bachelor's degrees in Classical Piano, Opera Singing, Music Composition, and Theory. As a flutist and passionate kirtan singer, I bring a special musical touch to the yoga practice. A special advantage is my ability to teach yoga primarily in English and Greek. These language skills allow me to reach a wide range of students and offer international classes. As a yoga teacher, I pass on my knowledge as follows: -Creating an inviting atmosphere -Structure of the lesson: Starting with mantras chanting, asanas, pranayamas, relaxation (Satyananda System of Yoga) -Clear guidance and demonstration when necessary -Addressing students individually -Conveying yoga philosophy -Motivating and inspiring -Being authentic and leading by example -Open to questions and feedback

Trusted teacher: The program is designed for students interested in concept art, illustration, visual storytelling, and portfolio preparation for art schools, animation/game-related programs, or independent artistic development. It follows a mentorship-based approach, combining artistic foundations, conceptual thinking, and portfolio strategy, adapted to everyone's style, vision and long-term goals. What's in it? PART I 1. Artistic & visual language • Traditional drawing & illustration techniques • Shape & form study • Light, color & values • Composition & visual storytelling 2. World-building & visual thinking • Environment design (natural & built spaces) • Props, objects, and visual detail • Character concepts (anatomy basics, silhouettes, expression) • Style exploration (realistic, stylized, symbolic, experimental) • References vs originality: how to build from research without imitation 3. Cognitive & creative process • Artistic thinking & workflow • From idea to image • Documentation & reference gathering • Moodboards & visual research • Iteration, selection, refinement • Knowing when a piece is finished 4. Digital foundations (optional / hybrid) • Transition from traditional to digital • 2D digital tools & workflows • Layer logic, brushes, textures • Digital painting fundamentals • Presentation-ready images • Case studies from professional concept artists & illustrators This section is optional and may be skipped for students with prior digital experience. In such cases, the focus will be on refining and strengthening what has already been acquired. IMPORTANT! All sections in Part I (artistic practice, visual language, world-building, technical and digital foundations) are approached according to the student’s existing level, from beginner to advanced. If foundational skills are already present, these areas will not be repeated mechanically; instead, the focus will shift toward portfolio development, conceptual depth, and refinement of existing work. PART II Portfolio development & mentorship 1. Portfolio building • Defining the student’s artistic direction • Selecting and developing strong themes • Creating cohesive series, not isolated images • Aligning personal style with academic or professional expectations • Consistent review, feedback, and refinement 2. Application-specific support (where applicable) • Portfolio selection & sequencing • Artist statements or motivation letters (with visuals) • Adapting work to specific institutions or programs • Understanding evaluation criteria

Trusted teacher: I am an experienced mathematics and physics teacher with state-recognized bachelor's, teacher training, and master's degrees. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in mathematics education. My classes are designed for those who want to overcome their learning difficulties (and have fun doing it), with a patient teacher committed to student development, which benefits their entire education. I strive to give my students the opportunity to discover how mathematics is present in everyday human life (to help people meet their basic needs) and in nature. Everyone can develop their gifts and talents, and my classes provide the appropriate environment for this. I try to explain the content of the theory and its applications whenever possible, demonstrating the relationship between this content and the human needs that have led to its historical development. I try to help students successfully solve problems related to the theories by guiding them step by step through the solution (to promote their competence, autonomy, and confidence in problem-solving), by asking questions, and, when necessary, by providing further examples and explanations that can lead to a deeper understanding. In my classes, there is no criticism or pressure, there's no room for fear of making mistakes (mistakes are part of our learning process). The atmosphere is joyful and healthy, which encourages students to be themselves and feel free to learn, explore, and ask questions in peace and joy. My role as a teacher is to provide conditions and resources that better enable me to help students develop themselves and their potential to the fullest.

Fun, relaxed English lessons with a native Oxford English speaker (Vienna)
Bryony

rating green star
I’ve been taking English lessons with Bryony to work on my speaking skills and accent and I couldn’t be happier with the progress so far. She has a really thoughtful and encouraging way of teaching. She notices the little details in pronunciation that make a difference, but never makes it feel intimidating. The lessons are always engaging and tailored to what I need. Highly recommend her if you’re looking to improve your spoken English in a relaxed but professional way!

Felix was thoughtful and approachable during the first lesson with my 7yr old son and 9yr old daughter, and they felt happy to continue with lessons. We are doing both piano and cello lessons with Felix. It is clear Felix has teaching experience and we look forward to further lessons.
