About Me

Comencé mi carrera artística a los 16 años, sumergiéndome en el mundo del arte no figurativo bajo la tutela de Ricardo Sánchez, alumno del reconocido artista Joaquín Torres García.
A lo largo de mi trayectoria, he cultivado una profunda pasión por el arte en todas sus expresiones, tanto figurativas como no figurativas.
Mi práctica artística se caracteriza por la experimentación y la constante búsqueda de nuevas formas de expresión. Se ha destacado en el ámbito del arte conceptual, las instalaciones, las esculturas y la pintura.
Poseo una personalidad curiosa e inquieta que me impulsa a investigar y profundizar en diversos temas relacionados con el arte y la cultura.
Además en mi trabajo como artista plástica, también cultivo la escritura como forma de expresión personal y reflexión.

Soy un artista visual nacido en Barcelona, establecido en Bélgica desde 2017. Como artista, he acumulado experiencia durante los últimos 25 años. Me gradué con una Licenciatura Académica en Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Barcelona y me gradué como Master en Artes Visuales en la Escuela de Artes Sint Lucas en Amberes.

Estoy especializado en pintura, dibujo, películas experimentales, instalaciones, lenguaje, sonido y comisariado. En otras palabras, soy un artista multidisciplinario.

Entiendo la práctica artística como una forma de entendernos a nosotros mismos y las situaciones que nos rodean. En mis clases no enseño cómo hacer arte, sino cómo decir algo a través de tu trabajo artístico. Conmigo puede trabajar de forma independiente, con un entrenador que lo desafiará con algunas tareas y le dará retroalimentación a sus inquietudes personales.

Además, aprenderá a trabajar con varios medios, preparando su propio material: pinturas, lienzos, etc.

No solo recibirá asesoramiento individual, sino que lo alentará a buscar otros artistas o tener en cuenta otras referencias relacionadas con sus inquietudes.

✓ L’acting, c'est l’ensemble des techniques de l’acteur dans laquelle une histoire est racontée au moyen de sa mise en scène. L'improvisation, c'est l'art du comédien qui compose dans le cadre d'un jeu de rôle, de théâtre. Avec des intentions distinctes, tous deux s’aident d’un large éventail de compétences (imagination,facultés émotionnelles,expressivité physique, projection vocale,clarté de la parole,interprétation,improvisation,observation, émulation,mime&combat scénique).

✓ Ainsi, ces séances permettent de développer des aptitudes et des connaissances du métier, avec le jeu face caméra, la familiarisation avec l’environnement audiovisuel et de théâtre, mais aussi l’espace scénique, le tout dans l’art du jeu de l’acteur.

✓ Votre inventivité, singularité, engagement et signature étant au centre de cette formation, il s'agit de s'attarder sur les critères objectifs, comme la voix, l’utilisation du corps, le rapport au partenaire, la capacité à occuper l’espace. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 12 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the halos. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.

Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!

Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.

The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.

(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)
